My last massage was absolutely terrible by Victoria at the Scottsdale location and my issues were never resolved. I wasted a 90 minute gift card on the worst massage I've ever had. Talk about incredibly disappointing. I had a massage with Giva at the Paradise Valley location today and what a pleasant experience. She is very caring and listens to all your needs. Unfortunately the problem with this ME is its' front desk staff. I've had massages with Elva and with Enrique who are both excellent, and a facial with Elyssa who is also excellent. I've had issues since the second month of my membership; I wasn't told that I needed to book my appointments after my auto-debit cleared or I would be charged for an extra appointment for the month. Apparently it's in the contract,(who reads those things?) however, in my opinion, great customer service would dictate that they would make sure I was aware of this. My guess is they have had customers skip out by cancelling the payment with the bank before the monthly dues were paid, but...ever heard of just being nice and giving your customers a heads up? A couple of months ago I paid cash for the extra services I received with my facial, but was charged on my card on file as well; it was resolved but only after I was told that their drawer tally was not off, and they were forced to look at security footage to verify I did in fact pay cash that day. I showed up for my appointment a couple weeks ago and was told my therapist wasn't working that day; I scheduled the appointment the month before (as I always do). How is it that the staff doesn't know who is working and when appointments are scheduled? They were able to schedule me with Enrique, (a half hour later than my original appointment) and as I mentioned earlier he is awesome, so not a total loss. However, before she scheduled me with him I asked about setting another session with my usual therapist and she didn't even know what days or hours were available with her. Then she asked me if I wanted 60 or 90 minutes with Enrique and I said clearly that I wanted 60. He was so good I found myself thinking, "wow this feels like longer than an hour." Well, in fact it was! They scheduled me for 90 minutes...I couldn't in good conscience refuse to pay for the extra 30 minutes, and he was great but....again, the customer service leaves much to be desired. I feel like the customer service with this location is severely lacking, and the front staff is not dynamic at all. They barely crack smiles and definitely are not helpful in the ways to be expected in the service industry. I was very disappointed to have had my massage cancelled on me last minute. I had scheduled a prenatal massage a week before. I received a call 2 hours prior to scheduled massage notifying me that the massage therapist that was scheduled for me does not do prenatal massages. As a pregnant woman in my 6th month I was devastated!! I will never schedule here again!!! They are very unorganized and do not know how to run a business. Giva was wonderful and also a very caring individual!! I have really missed Sylvia, was awesome and left About a year ago. I have been a member for more than 10 years and after this amount of time and monthly auto withdraw of the membership dues from my account, well, frankly, I never double check that taking place and coming out of my checking account. Then, I was running through my account and noticed that the $49.99 monthly fee I had been paying was now $65.00!!! Are you kidding a 30% increase in fees??? As I went back a few months, I discovered that this amount had been being taken out of my account, unbeknownst to me, for several months. I called and was informed that I had been mailed a notice of this increase. I never received anything in the mail and asked the person to confirm my mailing address. They did not have a correct address on file for me. She then said well then we would have emailed or called to let you know. NOPE, that didn't happen either! I was then informed that the increase was needed as they were now offering more services such as facials for men to mention one of the new services offered. Well, I AM NOT A MAN so that does not apply to me. I signed up for massages and massages only, not facials. They have offered womens facials for quite some time and I've never been interested. And how in the world does adding new services result in my membership fee increasing 30%? I asked to speak with the General Manager, Christian Rowe and was told he was not in but that a message would be left for him. A week later, I called again and was told they realized Christian had never called me and yet another message was left for him to call me the evening before. I asked, was he in today and was told yes so I said, well then he still isn't calling me back now is he? I knew I was in trouble and sensed that I was being ignored. Certainly, had Massage Envy truly made any attempt to notify me by mail (per my agreement with Massage Envy) Christian the General Manager would not hesitate to return my calls. Finally after 3 more calls I spoke with Christian. We came to an agreement that I would get to use my paid for massages (wow how generous) and that I'd be refunded for the extra charges that I was hit with since I was NEVER provided with any notice (again per my contract with Massage Envy) of any fee increase. My relationship with Massage Envy is severed and I will NEVER go back there, not even for 1 massage. I have found other therapists with better availability and prices without the hassle of a written agreement with a merchant that then violates the agreement with no remorse. Good luck Massage Envy, way to lose a long-term client and I would think I certainly cannot be the only person they tried to screw over - WOW!!! read more

So i got there and some how they had triple booked us !!!( well the couples room) yet i was the one with the apt on the computer. Becca is a really good therapist there and can do deep tissue. Most people say they can do deep tissue and can't. I like this massage envy better than most of them because they been here longer and I think have more experienced massage therapists. I like don't like the cut hour every time though! I showed up early for my 5 pm appointment. I was informed at 5:10 that my esthetician was "running late" do to her previous client being late. That client was still accepted and given her full time. It is now 5:25 and I still have not been called back. Just "I'm sorry, but you'll still get your full hour" from the front desk person. Basically, I'm being told that my time is less important that the previous client's. I have to wait because someone else was late. This is unacceptable and poor business. read more

I joined a few months ago and have had only good experiences so far. I usually just get medium pressure for a nice relaxing massage. The environment is very peaceful. I have trouble planning ahead for a massage because of my busy schedule, so I usually am calling last minute for any open 90 minute spot. I have gotten in that morning or afternoon almost every time. The one time I couldn't get in, I tried the one in Desert Ridge and got in that morning. I rarely get the same masseuse since I am always booking last minute, but they have all been good so far. read more

Ronnie is even better than my favorite therapist was. He understands the human body and knows just what areas to work on to relieve whatever pain you are experiencing. My service was fine i told the therapist my concerns she ignored them and continued her job. the customer service was terrible. It was my first time and i paid on card and left a $14 cash tip which the owner and also 3 other front desk agents saw- the owner or manager took the cash put it in the draw and said "$14 cash for Cindy". My appointment was at 4, i then get a call at 8pm from one of the front desk agents asking if i tipped and why i didnt, i explained i did my service on card and in cash was the tip, she proceeded to question me as if i was lying about leaving a tip. There was 4 people total who noticed me give my tip then to call and ask a paying customer if they gave a tip is extremely unprofessional!!! I was disgusted by this behavior in total and DO NOT recommend this location. read more

The store was very dirty ( floor, bathroom). The massage therapist that I had would not stop talking and was very rude about pulling pillows from my head when she wanted me to move. The store also stopped providing washed pillow cases so the pillow was wrapped in a sheet. The sheet came off and my skin was on a dirty pillow... She also used the dirty neck rest for my face... ( I did not realize this till after ) .. Lastly the massage therapist felt like she was just rubbing lotion on me... When I asked for more pressure she did not provide it. Worst prenatal massage and massage envy expire nice I have ever had. Will not be returning. read more
