After working with her, I feel so much more comfortable and in touch with my inner wisdom, and empowered to really just be ME. I have developed a deep trust in not only the universe, but in myself, I now know that is nothing anyone can give me that I don't already have within. And Priya led me to find what I needed within myself, she led me back to me. I have developed deep self-love and self-compassion, and I would not have been able to navigate my way here without Priya. And for that I was always be so grateful to her. For the past several years I had been experiencing bouts of depression and anxiety, and they were becoming increasingly disruptive to my life, and difficult to manage. In the years prior to working with Priya, I had been in talk therapy, which was certainly helpful, bringing me back from my breaking point, however, after a few years, I had felt the nudge to go deeper, and felt the call to explore spirituality and other healing modalities, but was unsure how to do so or where to start. I still felt lost, blocked emotionally, unable to escape those same habits and patterns I had always relied upon, unable to avoid the tornado of thoughts that constantly sucked me into their downward spiral. I knew there had to be more out there, something else. And I had been seeking that something else for a long time, trying everything under the sun, listening to every podcast, not finding anything that resonated. Upon meeting with Priya last year, I felt an instant connection. From our first conversation, we discussed finding a spiritual path, healing through energy work, identifying and clearing blocks, and finding tools that would best work for me. And this is exactly what we did (and so much more). Over the past 6 months, Priya supported me primarily using her beautiful Reiki gifts, NLP Time Line Therapy, EFT Tapping, powerful meditations, hypnosis, and vast knowledge of other healing methods. Each session is customized to where you are at that period of time. She is flexible, and will adjust to best support you. During our time together I truly learned so much about myself. It wasn't easy facing myself and asking those hard questions, peeling back the layers of hurt, pain and years of trying to push down my feelings. Working together at times was emotional and exhausting. But it was also eye opening and DEEPLY healing. There were some days where I would feel intense heaviness before meeting, and we would work through the issue(s), and by the end of the session, my entire body felt different, I felt as though I had released years of pain, I felt like I was floating on a cloud. The only way I can describe it, is that now, after working with her, I feel clearer, throughout my entire body. I am able to move through difficult situations by relying on myself, utilizing the tools she taught me. Of course I still have hard days, like all of us do, but by working with Priya, I have made space in my body and in my mind. I have developed a keen sense of self-awareness. I now prioritize taking care of myself, trusting myself, and am so much more confident in my path and abilities. Priya facilitated such a supportive and safe space that led to SO much growth and insight into my own soul. In the past month, I have also joined Priya's 4-Week Group Hypnosis Workshop. In a group of about 30, she led us all through beautiful breathing and grounding practices, and then a themed hypnosis (meeting your higher self, spirit guide, past life, etc.). Before meeting Priya I had the stereotypical preconceptions about what hypnosis was: you fall asleep, someone "programs" you to do something, they snap their fingers, you wake up and don't remember anything, but 2 years later someone says a certain word and you quack like a duck involuntarily. That is NOT what hypnosis is at all. Working with her in both 1-1 and group hypnosis was beautifully relaxing and profound, each time, in its own special way. She leads you through beautiful visualizations and makes suggestions, anchoring certain phrases in your mind, so that you can return to those blissful states of relaxation in the future, and gently reprogram your mind (for example, to be more confident, or to be more joyful- or to trust your higher self, it depends on the theme/topic). And you only go as deep as you want to. She creates a safe space before dropping into the hypnosis, so you always feel comfortable being guided by her words. After each hypnosis, I have always felt extremely relaxed, have often come away with some very powerful experiences and insights. The more you do hypnosis, the deeper you are able to go. She is a very gifted hypnotherapist, and leads to you beautiful places within your mind and soul. It has been an absolute honor to work with Priya, she is light and she is love. Dana's new(ish) office in downtown Decatur is comfortable and serene. There are very few distractions in this space (compared to the old space in Candler Park), which allows both those receiving and giving the good "Reiki vibes" to really experience healing on a deeper level. I was greeted upon entry by Raven, the sales clerk and Dr. Shanique, the owner. Raven assisted with my many inquiries as Dr. Shanique escorted other patrons up the winding staircase. I settled on bracelets for my daughter and myself from the vast array of semi precious stones. Garnet for my January baby and aventurine and chakra colored stones for me. Yes, I deserved two bracelets. Smile. Chose aventurine due to it being known to boost creativity and can use all the help I can get with writing! Chakra stone bracelet selected for its numerous properties including clearing, revitalizing and healing. Raven wrapped each item and placed in a logoed bag. After the patrons descended from the upper level and had photos taken at decorative wall with signage, I inquired about the services offered. Learned more about oracle card readings and reiki offered, and was invited to view upper level where these services took place.
