Byron is by far the best massage therapist I have ever gone to. I will not go to any other now…read more His fascia adjustments nearly eliminate the pain that I experience in my legs. Byron knows how to work each muscle to release the tension and increase range of motion. With past massage therapists, I have had to tell them to work deeper but Byron seems to know the exact pressure that each muscle needs and I amazed at how he finds every knot and is able to get those to release. His prices are so reasonable and the ambiance of his room is relaxing and comfortable. Byron's massages are keeping me in better health!

She has helped me with neck tension and lower back acheyness. The last time I had scheduled a massage with her I woke up with a severe migraine. She was understanding that I didn't want to talk, intuitively worked on areas that I guess were right, and provided major relief. When she was done the pain was about half as bad as it had been which was incredible....and I was able to sleep. Woke up and it was gone. Normally could have lasted me days and potentially ended up with a trip to the ER. Beyond grateful!!!!

Bizzare and scary experience…read more First time getting a massage, and probably my last. Austin moved my legs around for a few minutes then started yelling and cussing to "get the fuck out". It's way more intense than a deep tissue massage b/c he applies sustained pressure to one area in order to break up the fascia. I should have taken a couple shots of whisky before I decided to try this. Throughout most of it I managed not to cry like a little schoolgirl but there were some moments when I let out a couple shrieks. To his credit, he asked me what kind of pressure I wanted and I told me "full force." Am I a glutton for pain? Maybe - I don't know about some people but I really like my therapists to really dig deep and break up whatever is causing me pain. The results were what I wanted: more range of motion for my shoulder. Note: go easy on your shoulders when you lift weights. Don't try to be a Arnold Swartznegger when you work them out because their small muscles and can get injured easily. It's better to use light weights with perfect form. Austin is a good massage therapist and I'm glad I gave him a chance. I usually go to another place off I-10 but she was booked all week. He really has the technique down and knows what he's doing. I'll definitely be back. Through experience now, I prefer male massage therapists because they can apply way more pressure than female ones can. He charges $90 for an hour which is a little higher than I normally pay but he did a good job, so I'm cool with it.
