Was in town for a show at the Hollywood Casino and decided to take the day to visit some of the…read morethrift stores, etc. in the area. We went when the outside vendors were not there but let me make it clear.....it is a LOT bigger inside than it looks! I went in the door and turned to the right. There are a multitude of booths run by all different people. There are booths on both sides of the aisles, but I decided to just concentrate on the ones to my right, then come back to the ones on the inner circle. Then there was another room.......and another. Meanwhile, my husband was going here and there but I had specific things in mind to look for and he knew what they were. He ended up finding me two pieces. I never finished the third large room or the other two 'inner circles' before he was ready to go. And I couldn't blame him, we had been there nearly an hour and a half. They have restrooms and coffee/cold drinks available. I believe there is a small charge for the beverages. Some of the booths were jam-packed, so watch your step and if you go, plan on giving yourself plenty of time to look around! There is definitely something for everyone here, you just need to look around! There was one booth where everything was $1, and several others that were running 20 or 25% off off so deals are to be found. I am very happy that we decided to check this place out and next time we are in the area I'm sure we will go again. Maybe in the warmer months when the outside vendors are there.

I've been going to this HUGE antique shop for seven years. I always find something, usually too…read moremany things! Standard set-up of individual dealers' booths. Just about anything you could imagine buying, someone has it here. Antique china, kitschy items, collectibles, tools, books, linens, etc. There's even an antique doctor's buggy outside for sale. Every time I take out of town visitors here, they end up shipping boxes of things back home. Friendly staff, free coffee, and restrooms.

If it wasn't for an employee at the other place, we wouldn't have known that this place existed. Situated right along I-81 sits a nondescript building. If you looked quickly you would think that it's nothing more than a garage for some other business. Turns out the inside is a sprawling antique store. Every square inch of the inside is used to display items for purchase. Even an old cooler, which in its own right is pretty cool (pun intended). The employees are quite nice to deal with. They known where everything else seems to be, even if you give a vague description they know exactly what you are looking for. Restrooms inside. Some prices can be negotiated. Ample parking.

The parking situation in Georgetown is ridiculous already on the weekends, and with a popular flea market to add to that? Chaos, people...chaos. This market is open Sundays year round, (unless weather prevents it) and there is ample free parking at 2100 Clarendon. And more space allows for more vendors, and ergo-- more stuff sold means more stuff to choose from. So whether you are looking for a new place to eat off of (plenty of dining or kitchen tables here) or sit on (tons of chairs) or light to read by (funky old lamps with vintage shades)..this is a great spot to look.

After going up the steps and opening the door, I was immediately excited to look through the enormous collection. This store is HUGE. Unfortunately I came here 40 minutes before it was closing so I wasn't able to see everything, but that only means that I'll be coming back (again and again...). There was furniture, country decor, jewelry, coins, pottery, crocks, lamps, baseball cards, kitchen items, toys, dishes, candles, glassware, books, dolls... just to name a "few." There were new and old items including collectibles and toys. Because of the sheer variety, anyone and everyone would be able to find something for themselves. The prices honestly weren't bad at all. The most expensive thing I saw was a vintage wingback chair priced at $125 (keep in mind that I couldn't look at everything). The quality/ware of the items ranged from excellent to poor. The poor quality items were very old paperback books with spine creases. I was greeted by a friendly woman who was working at the cash register. Another woman found all the customers to let them know that the store would be closing in 15 minutes. Check this place out!
