I've gotten calls to make sure we know about upcoming events (since we aren't on the mailing list yet). They also have a Tot Shabbot once a month so our toddler can go to services. We went last night and the cantor was wonderful. Our son had such an amazing time. I'm looking forward to attending the mommy and me classes. Everytime I attended church, the good news of the gospel was shared and the Holy Spirit was alive and active. Since that time, I have been connected to a small group and I regularly attend Wednesday night EQUIP Bible classes and Sunday sermons. In all the lessons I learned through the years, I heard the message that I was to go, preaching and teaching the name of Jesus with others. I prayed to the Lord, and He called me to start a baseball ministry, known as the East Coast Sox (eastcoastbaseball.org) Central continues to be home where I attend to fill up my heart, soul, and mind to know Jesus better. The relationships built and the presence of the Holy Spirit have encouraged and enabled me to go from a non-believer to a ministry leader. I'm not sure if in nicer weather you can walk across the bridge. On the grounds we saw ducks and there was also an enclosed area where there were some border collies. There was a small playground area as well. The monastery was built mainly as a gathering and worshiping place for the Vietnamese people living in the Memphis area.

The sanctuary is gorgeous now as you can see in my pictures. We recently had our wedding here in October 2012 and the church can easily seat 700 people in pew style. The school on site is phenomenal as well and just had a new Junior High wing built. Lots of activities and lots of work done for the community through the church itself and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. The office staff is very nice and the church is open during the day if you'd like to stop by and check it out or pray. Very safe and quiet place in a great neighborhood.
