Full story: We initially left a 5 star review as the food and service was good, however, after we left our review (we were asked to do it by the waiter in the restaurant before we paid) something odd happened. We tried to pay our 600 check with a 1000 bill. The waiter came back and said he could not break it. We said fine, we'll pay by credit card. We thought it odd that he ran off with the 1000 bill again, so we thought he was going to double check if he could break it. He returned without the 1000 bill and asked us for our credit card. We asked him for the 1000 bill. We would not give him the credit card without getting our 1000 bill back. He looked surprised and ran off again. He came back with the 1000 bill and so we then paid by credit card. We thought it odd but were sort of flustered as we were trying to leave. We even asked about leaving a tip and ended up doing it via a separate credit card charge. When we got back to the hotel we discussed what happened. When they could not break the bill why did he not immediately hand it to us and take our credit card to process right away? Why did he leave and return without the bill then ask us to pay by credit card? This entire scenario seemed intentional. We were obviously tourists and if they got away with it, it would be our word against theirs, and chances are they would never see us again. So if you eat here, the food is good, the service is good, but make sure you are not scammed out of your cash. Now I'm concerned about the charge and will be following up to make sure that wasn't tampered with as well.

Butter chicken - so good, just the way I like it! Not on the lunch menu but so worth it.

Naan clay baked (presumably fluffy on the inside and had a nice crust on the end) The chicken tikka masala had a lot going for it. Lots of herbs and spices and a symphony of flavor. Even had some spiced roots in it . The sauce was creamy and tomato gravy. On the spectrum of masala sauce it was a tad bit too sweet , less savory. Ordered spicy, but it wasn't . Hard to complain given how cheap it is and judged as such it was still a good experience !!'

We ordered the butter chicken (which was okay), the mixed grill (the lamb kabobs were dry and not great, ask to substitute them, but the chicken kabobs were tender and flavorful), and the lamb biryani (quite good!). The mixed grill came with butter chicken sauce on the side, which isn't anything I have seen before, but it worked because the malai chicken boti could've used more seasoning. It was the perfect amount of food for 4 people without having to pack leftovers. My mom also ordered the mango lassi and enjoyed it (I think... see her review to confirm). The place is clean, the decor is simple, the service was pretty good. I'll stick with satisfactory.

Mixed grill: other than the lamb kabob (which was completely dry and not fresh looking/tasting at all), the 3 kinds of grilled chicken meats were reasonable. Butter chicken: also reasonable. Mango lassi was good. But we are south East Asian and know south East Asian food .... so our bar is relatively high and critique probably a little more critical. If you are not familiar with Indian food I think it is pretty good and definitely ok to try. Service was good and quick, presentation ok as well. I wish they had served grilled veggies with the grilled meats.

Their dishes are delicious and flavorful, the portions are hefty (and inexpensive), and when a dish is labelled "spicy," it truly is spicy. The only qualm I have is that their service is quite hit-or-miss in that one time my order was taken within the first minute of sitting down, and another time it took close to ten minutes.
