Finding no gas station in sight, my phone directed me to the next closest establishment within which to fill up our drained gas tank... this Sunoco station. As a Rhode Islander, I will be forever grateful for the significantly cheaper gas prices just over the Massachusetts line. This station was no different and boasted pricing at least 10 cents cheaper than its neighboring state. Looking for something to tide me over until what turned out to be a very late meal, I walked into the seemingly small convenience portion of this establishment and was astounded by the number of options I had to choose from. On entering, I was asked by my counterpart to find some cream soda (usually a difficult task at most convenience stores as Root Beer usually wins out on the shelves over the less popularly supplied Cream variety). I laughed, but was surprised to find this options as well. The cashier was very personable, making jokes and conversation with most of the patrons in the store. My bf was even offered the store's "lucky penny" with which to use on a purchased scratch ticket. What could have been a bland and irritating gas up, turned into a light and enjoyable experience. Completely unexpected but totally welcomed!!

The cashier was very friendly, greeted me and assisted me promptly. Location is convinent from route 106 off of route 140 in Mansfield, across from Benny's and next door to Wendy's. The price of gas is competitve with other local gas stations, but slightly cheaper. :-) Some days are busier than other, but rarely have to wait for a pump to become available. I am a fan! :-)

I went here a couple times to get my car inspected and had no problem until this year. Not sure if…read moreit was new owners but they tried to rip me off. The car I was having them do the inspection was only 3 years old at the time and I driving only to the train station with the car. So I know the car is in good working order and should easily pass. When I brought my car in there for inspection and they said everything checked out. Then while I was paying one of the guys ran in and said my windshield wipers had to be replaced. I told him about two weeks prior I put new ones on and they don't need to be replaced. He goes off and said that I have to or I fail inspection. He also said that there are state camera in their garage and the state is watching and listening to what they say and he says they needed to be replaced. (Yeah I am sure they a listening at that very second). I ask if he can show me why they failed and he said he already removed the bad windshield whippers and throw them away. Now I owe him $25 for new windshield wiper blades plus the state inspection fee of $35. (Who pays $25 for non branded windshield wipers! ) I told him no and he said that I fail the test and it would cost another $35 to retake the test. At the end I payed $35 for the inspection and $12 for the windshield wipers. Clearly they were just trying to make extra money off me. I cannot image if I had an older car what they might say I needed. I'll not be going back to this place!

There is a car wash thats reasonably priced and a revamped interior now known as Alltown Fresh - with benefits. Ya Ok not that kind but a full sandwich bar with bowls and salads and all day breakfast. The layout is superb, very clean and spacious with a long counter and bar stools to sit and watch people fill up. I like where they are going with this concept not sure its going to be a destination but the sandwiches do look good and at around $10 bucks are in line and competitive with other sandwich shops. Yesterday there was a nice gal outside the front door under a canopy with a table of roast beef sandwich samples. The sample was actually decent sized not a BJs little napkin thing. Came with au jus sauce! So besides the gas, the lottery, the snacks and drinks they are definately pushing the food. Gas prices you ask? Well Mobil is never the cheapest or the highest for that matter however they are all over the place and when you need it you need it. They do have a new Fresh app that upon signing up qualifies you for 50 cents off each gallon on your first fill up. (The other benefits are ordering food ahead and free coffee or drink every 5th one.) So wait till your tank is empty and go save 9 or 10 bucks on a fill up and maybe grab a bite. Wouldn't go too far out of my way but if your local like me go for it.

Complete trash! I…read morestopped into this gas station this morning as I noticed I was on empty before getting on the highway on my way to work. I pulled up to a pump and used my card, the pump registered and asked me if I wanted a receipt, I chose no and picked the grade of gas I wanted, and......nothing happened. I tried hitting the button for the receipt again, I chose regular again, I hung the pump nozzle back up, nothing works??? I then head to go in and see what the problem is. This is where I find the cashier (long grey hair and thick black glasses) standing outside, right in front of the front door, smoking a cigarette and chatting with some dude, all while there is two people inside waiting on her at the register. I went in, waited for the lady to come back in. She goes behind the register helps the first guy out and complains about some noise the register is making. She then looks at me, probably sees the obviously aggravated look on my face, and casually says "if you are waiting on gas I just opened the pumps".... like seriously? A "sorry for the wait" was too much for this lady? So, for 6:30am on a Friday, when there is a huge rush of people heading to work and coming in here, let's just hang out outside, stinking up the main entrance with cigarette stank, and make people who are trying to get to work on time just stand around waiting for gas. Totally professional business practice.... NOT. I'll be going to Cumberland Farms next door from now on. Side note....the two ladies who work the Dunkin Donuts here are AWESOME! Best service and attitude I've ever gotten at a Dunkins, hands down, and I've been to a lot of Dunkins.

He said no you handed me $1.30- which is a lie because I specifically took all quarters from the change compartment of my vehicle. Then the cadhier made a rude comment and said "you made a mistake its ok". If this cashier stocky, white male steals a dime from every customer he makes out pretty well at the end of his shift. For me it was ONLY $0.20. The customer service even after calling to complain was astounding and completely ignored. Me and my family will purchase our fuel elsewhere going forward.

Recently, Mike sold Ron's Service Ctr, which is now managed by a guy named Olay. Mike and his brother are still owners of the Cannan Fuels properties, which expanded into Taunton, Attleboro, and next - Milford - where, according to neighbors, Mike will act more as a property manager. Trying to give Olay at Ron's Service Ctr a chance, we took our car there when it started making a strange noise. He told us the noise was caused by the need for new set of breaks. Olay told us to leave the car there for the day for car diagnostic and new front break installation. After spending almost $400, the noise was still there the day after the new break set installation. We called Olay, who then yelled at us saying he cannot diagnose our car over the phone and we would need to bring it back for a second day. Sorry Olay, we gave you a chance. But, YOU WILL NEVER BE Our Honest Mike. After explaining our experience to different neighbors, they all said the same thing - We need to switch to a new auto shop.
