Made an appointment with Doctor Michael Cushing to review the MRI, and discuss my options. We scheduled surgery for my right shoulder. I have had three post surgery visits to make sure everything is okay. Also, started PT two days after the surgery twice a week for 10 weeks and once a week afterwards. Awesome experience from the start. We are looking to do the left shoulder next year.

I saw Dr DeV and I was shocked he took his time to hear of my battle with anxiety and took some test, not just write me an rx for meds that I never take because they don't work and the side effects are worse then the anxiety. He also referred me to Dr. King a cognitive behavioral therapist and now after 6 yrs I no longer have the anxiety and med free. Then I developed a severe bacterial infection and was hospitalized for 3 days 2 wks ago feeling the same symptoms I saw him today and he realized I was given antibiotics in the hospital that was not proven to kill the specific infection and made a weird face like, "why" ? I'm now on proven meds to finally kill this infection and I'm fully confident in his care. My family and I will see him til he retires. Oh and I never wait more then 10 mins in the very nice and comfortable waiting room. His male assistant could act like he wants to be there lol he's nice but seems a lil bored or down. Nice guy though. The front office and schedule coordinator are very pleasant always. I don't want them to get very busy but I have to yelp about this awesome team. Not only is he a real and honest Doctor, he has the best personality! And is not bad to look at ;) he is to the point but with a cheerful attitude.

My first red flag should have been cash only, no receipt but I needed my drive shaft fixed I was…read morehappy. Steve Payton had to press the carrier bearing on because a mechanic cannot do this only a machine shop. Part was approximately $80 paid him $50. This lasted about 2 months if that and it failed again. My mechanic removed the drive shaft and yes carrier bearing was gone again as well as center ujoint. So another $80 plus $120 for the ujoint, took to Steve Payton paid him $110 for the work got my repaired drive shaft back on a Tuesday mechanic installed it and the next day drove it 5 miles and it became inoperable knocking, vibrating and shaking like crazy. Got towed back to the house another $100 my mechanic inspected under my car and the ujoint that Payton installed had came out. He removed the drive shaft and the carrier bearing was ruined, the ujoint was not properly installed. This man DID NOT PUT THE CLIPS IN to hold ujoint in the drive shaft. There had to be clips to hold it in place and he left them off! Stupid and negligent beyond comprehension! My mechanic called him the next day he told him there were no clips? A flat out lie and hung up on my mechanic. I've tried numerous times to reach him to no avail I've sent him pictures of what he did and did not do, no response. I am out now some $500 plus and still cannot drive my car. I now am having to take to a professional drive shaft only business another $300 plus! This man has cost me almost $1000 and refuses to acknowledge or rectify anything. PLEASE think twice before considering him for anything. Even if you have to go out of your way to find another machine shop DO IT! This could have turned out badly for myself and daughter driving when all this went out. Payton's Machine Shop is a joke!!!!
