The last time we changed the appointment, I said "are you sure this time works for her" and she replied "yes, I confirmed with her". After filling out her intake form, on the day of appointment, no call. I call in, and Rinky Parwani answered and while apologetic offered a bunch of excuses and says that she doesn't usually take appointments during that time. Why would anyone trust a firm that operates this way to do their estate planning?

I never expected I could actually win custody of my kids given the precedent that had already been set. On paper, the odds were not in my favor. Opposing counsel looked impressive: all the accolades, the certifications, the recognition. He was not someone I was looking forward to battling. I started my case pro se because I had so little hope of any real success. Then the first hearing got scheduled, and while I consider myself competent, I knew I needed someone to actually represent me. I spoke with 10 lawyers. Richard Mockler was the only one worth a damn. He called me in the early hours of the morning, and I knew immediately he was the one I wanted in my corner. I could tell just from talking to him that he was deeply well-versed in child custody law, and then I saw all the accolades, certificates, and awards to back it up. But he's not just a great lawyer. He's a great human, and I don't say that lightly. I've had the unfortunate experience of lawyers who pretended to care. Richard actually does, and he proves it time and time again. He's the king of the rockstars in that office, and it's obvious he's built the right team around him. It would be easy to discount this review because I won and I'm happy. Katherine spent countless hours with me preparing motions and making sure every document was in order. Everything she produced was expert-level. Turns out that couldn't be further from the truth. I'll spare you the details but my ex and I came to an agreement that she actually created based on the judge's temporary relief recommendations. My ex and I were going to type the agreement out together, but the firm suggested they would do it so my ex and I didn't screw it up. Well turns out Hunter Law, that I paid 15,000$ and trusted to have my son and my best interest at the forefront screwed up the contract. As a result of their clerical errors I will miss well over a year of time with my son over the course of his life. My mistake was trusting this firm. They made it right by offering me 1/3 of the money I paid them back and a half hearted apology from the lawyer and suggested sometimes lawyers make mistakes.
