He recommended some extra work that was necessary, but his quote for the work was very reasonable. He carefully explained each step, and the value of doing it. Cecilio kept me informed as work progressed, and made sure we were satisfied. I am very very pleased with the work. The house not only looks much much better, but I know that it is better protected from water damage now. Reliable, flexible, great work- I am planning to hire him again, and would recommend him to anyone needing roofing or gutter work done.

He came out and walked me through what he could do to make the repairs and also added downspouts where they were needed. He spent time with me, beat his time estimate as to when he could do the work, and took all trash and debris with him when finished. I especially appreciated the follow up call a few weeks later to make sure I was happy with the work. I highly recommend!

We had our roof replaced by Unique Siding Co. We have nothing but praise to the owner and crew…read more When we had our first conversation, Mr. Hathaway explained the various options, made recommendations, and gave us time to think about the project. We voiced concerns about damages from falling debris and were promised that they will protect the garden and flower beds that surround the house. This was a "no pressure" meeting. In fact, it took us over a week to finally sign up with the company. The work on the two roofs (house and detached garage) took about a day and a half. The foreman was on site throughout. There were no damages. We followed the suggestions offered by Mr. Hathaway and are delighted with the final results. A+

But this AM I discovered that an 8 ft piece of facia, on the back of the house, was blowing in the breeze. I called my insurance co. and they suggested a siding co. I called them and they very honestly said that my problem would not be worth their time but I should call Unique. I did and within a couple of hours, the owner showed up and said that he would send over an employee who was busy "tarping" a house in South Bend. Jeff showed up and within 15 min he fixed my facia and also told me that another problem I had could easily be fixed in a couple of hours. I will be calling them to schedule that job. Love this company!

Our experience with Horner Roofing exceeded our expectations from start to finish…read more As out-of-state property investors, we needed a new fascia and soffit installed on a single family home that was already occupied by tenants in South Bend. This was a project we were hoping to hold off on until a few months later, but ended up needing to be done sooner. Because of this, we were unable to be there in person to meet with contractors. I ended up calling 7 roofing companies to go out to the property and get quotes. Jett Gillis went out the next day and was able to get me a quote very quickly. Every other company I called either told me that they were too busy to give us a quote, completely failed showed up to the appointment, quoted us much higher, or gave me a bit of an unpleasant attitude. I even had to explain to one highly-rated company what a soffit was not once, not twice, but three times! (A soffit is the underside of the roof.) Horner Roofing is the only company that checked every box. They were: - professional - communicative - friendly - reasonably priced. Because of our work, I have communicated and done business with countless companies in various realms of home improvement. Jett has been by far the most wonderful contractor I have worked with in every way. Calls to and from the Horner Roofing office with Susan were always an absolute pleasure. If you are looking for a roofing, siding or gutter company, you need't look any further than Horner Roofing.
