this is definitely top 5 desserts of all time. it tops tu cha in los angeles. the workers are kind and patient. highly recommend getting the raspberry it blew mind away

We had the most beautiful wedding cake, and it tasted just as amazing as it looked! Every detail was exactly what we envisioned, and it fit our wedding perfectly. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting how delicious and beautiful it was. The entire process was smooth, from planning to delivery, and everything was handled professionally and with great care. Thank you for helping make our wedding day even more special--we couldn't have been happier with our cake! Highly recommend!

Came by for some baked goods the other day and it was a decent experience. Parking was available in the private strip mall. Staff behind the counter were courteous. Ordered a chocolate hazelnut dessert and it was tasty and very good. Most importantly, it wasn't too sweet. It was on the pricier side at $10+ each.

It has been on my list to visit, known for the Spiral Croissant made popular like around 2 years ago. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great indoor and outdoor dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Since it is small shopping area there is a lot of parking. It is a great place to enjoy a cup or tea or coffee with a selection of decadent desserts. As you check the display case someone will help you and you can request for take out or for here options. The staff were friendly and helpful when I requested for explanation for some of the desserts. Once you pay, pick any table to sit down and they will bring the tea or coffee with dessert of your choice. I had ordered Tokyo Breakfast and Leek Parmesan (I requested the pastry to be warmed up). Definitely must try for people who love IPP (Individual Production Pastry) type of desserts and great place to hangout with your friends or family.

Customer service 5/5 Desserts 4/5 Ambiance 4/5 I came in randomly one day knowing I had always wanted to try their pastries. I'm not sure why I thought they would also have slices of cake ( Hense the name), but they had smaller pastries and dessert options. A lot of selections for all of your dessert cravings. I will have to go back in and try their coffee and other items. But the things I ordered were good.

I generally like the cake here, but this time I ordered their mini daily cake. Vanilla flavor and it was super dry and dense.

I ordered a custom cake from them and it came out so beautiful and it was very good! Highly recommend this bakery and will definitely be ordering from them again!

Marvel Cake is such a hidden gem! The whole café has a girly and luxurious vibe, from the plush, super comfy seating to the elegant decor. There's plenty of indoor seating, so you don't feel cramped at all -- and bonus points for a clean, well-maintained bathroom, free WiFi, and easy, plentiful parking. I went on a Sunday around 1 PM, and surprisingly, it wasn't crowded at all -- which made the experience even better. I ordered the Hokkaido crepe cake, chocolate croissant, iced latte, and an iced americano. Everything was delicious: * The chocolate croissant was super crispy and fresh -- probably one of the best I've had. * The crepe cake was light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet without being overpowering. * The iced latte was smooth and well-balanced, and you can tell they use good quality coffee. Definitely coming back. Whether you're into desserts, coffee, or just a chill spot with a pretty vibe, Marvel Cake checks all the boxes.

This has been my go-to place and a secret superpower for the last few years, that enabled me to show up with an amazing cakes for my wife's birthdays and really any occasions. They have a good selection of small single-serve cakes that we really enjoy, as we get to try many different flavors. But they also have large cakes, daily cakes, legendary Marvel tiramisu and all kinds of pastries. It's impossible to come in and walk out without a huge box of things you didn't know you needed. The service is quick and polite. They will even calligraph a custom edible banner for your cake! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've always taken away but there are some tables to eat in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are always some people there but it's reasonably quiet and peaceful, with lots of light and muted colors interior.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This place is absolutely lovely! The desserts were such a treat. I came the other day with a friend, and we ordered a few to share, the lemon pie, the passion fruit dessert, and the tiramisu, which was definitely our favorite. I had a cappuccino that was smooth and well-balanced, and my friend got the red velvet coffee, which had a really nice, subtle flavor, just the right touch of sweetness. If it weren't for my sugar sensitivity, I'd probably spend way more time here! The ambiance is so aesthetic and cozy, perfect for catching up with friends over coffee and something sweet.

I love the name! Being one of the few bakeries left in the area that makes spiral croissants... I had to try this place. MANGO SPIRAL CROISSANT - super disappointing - only the orange frosting/creme on top had actual mango flavoring - the interior was just your typical vanilla crème (no idea if this was intentional or if they just forgot the mango flavoring because this was SUPER DISAPPOINTING and I feel as if I have been lied to) - croissant itself wasn't crisp at all and not what I expected at all (it tasted like dense puff pastry not flaky buttery delicious croissants) DUBAI CROISSANT - okay I ordered this because I am totally falling into the Dubai chocolate fad - no flaky buttery crispy deliciousness any where - more "skin" than anything (I doubt anyone could guess this is a rendition of Dubai chocolates) ORANGE BLOSSOM LATTE - did not taste like blossoms at all - more vanilla taste than anything SERVICE - friendly - did not really wanted to answer any questions - I appreciate them charging me less? (Or maybe it was a mistake of charging me more before they noticed the mistake? But thank you) AMBIENCE - indoor and outdoor seating - a ton of folks were sitting in and having lively conversations while consuming their drinks and pastries - very modern white clean decor PARKING - located in the Nob Hill plaza - no other eateries around this bakery (but next plaza over) - plentiful parking; free + private lot

They also gave many varieties of hot beverages, sweet and savory scones and sweet and savory croissants. There are also a lot of different pastries. This would be a great place to have a small relaxing breakfast. There are several places inside to enjoy your goodies. Both desserts, that I purchased, were so delicious. The space has a modern yet warm feel with beautiful natural wood finishes, fresh loaves of sourdough lining the shelves, pastries displayed in the case, and a mix of large communal wood tables, regular seating, and high-top tables. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. Instead of the typical flat, flaky style, theirs is taller with countless buttery layers that create an amazing texture. The cappuccino was another highlight. It had subtle notes of orange peel, whiskey, and cardamom, making it unique. The latte art was beautiful too. Overall, Manresa Bread is one of those cafés that makes you want to sit down with a laptop or a book and spend a few hours there. The only downside is there are no power outlets, so come with a full battery if you're planning to work. Must orders: Levain sourdough toast with butter and the Kouign-amann. After checking out their yelp page I saw they had food as well so the plan was set to go for lunch. There's a small but empty enough parking lot along with street parking. I walked over around lunch time and there was one person ahead of me. I ordered a steak torta which seemed promising. The lady who took my order twisted my arm into getting a licuado (milkshake). While waiting for my food, I went next door for a drink and chips. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes and the line had grew by that time. The torta was really tasty and fresh, all the ingredients hit the notes needed. The bread stood out in good and bad ways. The flavor was above average but it crumbled quite a bit. There was enough inside to hold up to the thick bread so I cant complain. My biggest gripe is there wasn't any salsa on the side and I didnt see any in the store. Maybe I just didnt ask? But if there is some available, this place could be a hit out the park. There was also a slight taste of tuna in my sandwich. They may have used the same spatula for the mayo as the tuna perhaps, im not sure. I didn't get sick or anything so I won't complain too much, just mentioning it. Salsa woulda covered it and elevated it but this is just my take. The licuado was standard mexican childhood approved. 7 bones for the drink and my total was like 19 bucks. Thats very fair because the torta is filling enough for barely 11 dollars, great value.
