I noticed that someone said this place is hit and miss. We must have hit a miss day. We started with queso and chips (the only thing I remembered to take a pic of). This was the best thing we ate. All of us agreed. It could have used more brisket as 1 healing tablespoon is not enough, but taste was a 10/10. The meatballs. We were so excited for these. They tasted like lighter fluid or moth balls. All 5 of us who tried it were disgusted. The server sweetly educated us that it was because they are made with brisket. Sweet, sweet child. We know BBQ. We know brisket. These do not taste like brisket. They tasted like chemical. We each scraped our half of a meatball that was left back under the plate and sent them back to the kitchen with her. One would think that she would get it removed our check, but alas, we had to ask her to when she brought the check at the end of the meal. She said "I will check". Yeah, you check on those meatballs we sent back. I will say that my baked potato was fresh and delicious. The hatch green chili macaroni and cheese was OK, the pasta was cooked perfect al dente but the sauce was a bit runny. The brisket was good. Not amazing. The ribs, also good but not amazing. My side salad with hide made ranch was good. Sauce is in the mouth of the taster but none of us thought their sauce was delicious. Why they had a fire pit going around the outside sitting area in blazing July is beyond me. The ambiance was typical of this type restaurant. The high ceiling made the noise level elevate but not so much that we couldn't talk. Overall nice and clean. Our server was nice but not as attentive as we prefer. Having to ask for refills can get old. We had 7 at our table. 1 above our normal limit for dining out but everyone in the party was laid back and not demanding so it shouldn't have been a big deal. Inconsistent. Be wary when you order to go. I've gotten nachos from the pickup and the coffee shop and both are often different that then restaurant which is frustrating because I am expecting the same as it should be. The nachos are sometimes laid out like they are in the restaurant so you have more coverage, but the last couple of times they've been soaked in the sweet barbecue sauce and piled with seemingly less cheese and accoutrements on top you with a pile of chips and nothing to combine them with. I've had similar situations with the sheet cake. It served with ice cream and when I purchased from the coffee shop, they said ice cream doesn't come with it. I actually ended up calling and confirming that it does come with ice cream and all three locations. Finally buyer beware. Quality of alcohol here is subzero. They only offer western son and Tito's. For those that have a more discerning pallet. You will find that they have fallen short for certain vodka and gin offerings. read more

We went with 12 people to Marty B's this afternoon to celebrate my daughter's special 18th birthday. Even though we told them the special occasion when we arrived they never acknowledged her birthday personally to her even after spending over $480. No singing of happy birthday, no complimentary desert, nothing other than a signed card after most of our party left including the birthday girl. So unimpressed as all 12 of us were quite surprised. Although complimentary desert or singing of happy birthday shouldn't be expected at all establishments a personal acknowledgement to the birthday girl would've been the very least. Upstairs is not wheelchair accessible. Ever. Wheelchair users can not attend the Bible studies, concerts, or any special events. Downstairs is a little better, at least you can roll around some. However, the tables outdoors downstairs are not wheelchair friendly. All seats are picnic tables so any wheelchair user has to eat their food and hold their drinks on their lap. The alternative is to roll up to the end of a table, which places you in the aisle. You are then in the middle of server and patron traffic, blocking their access. Very Disappointing. What a great place!! It's massive with numerous options for indoor & outdoor seating, horse parking, a fire pit & small play area for kids. They have live music on the stage at prime times (Thurs-Sun currently), a large outdoor bar, fans & cabana type areas you can reserve - otherwise it's first come first serve. I do believe that one of the outside areas has a limited menu to order from. The servers are extremely busy because it's a busy place but they are very attentive and were operating like a well oiled machine. The ?manager came around and was checking on the tables which was nice. We got brisket nachos to start which are massive and delicious! You definitely need to add a little of the bbq sauce - soooo good!! The smoked meatballs were good but I recommend eating them as an appetizer instead of a meal as I did. The stuffed jalapeño was good but I'd love to have an option with some of their amazing brisket stuffed in there. Their ranch dressing was tasty and a nice touch to cool my mouth off from the spice of the jalapeño. The mexican martini was spicy and refreshing! We are Marty B fans! We had heard a lot about this restaurant, but this was our first time getting out there. We were meeting friends that lived nearby. The queso was a 10 out of 10. It was full of meat and several other things that made it delicious. The margarita was not my favorite. I gave it away. The salmon, steak, and all of the sides were really good. We enjoyed visiting and listening to the live music. This place is very kid friendly. Still, you have older people enjoying themselves while dancing in front of the band. I enjoy the waiting area in front of the restaurant with the comfortable seating and how my kiddos can enjoy s'mores by the fire.
