My doctor referred me to a specialist, and he suggested surgery. I immediately went into depression because the things I used to do I could no longer do them without severe pain. Fall of 2018 I met Dr Keith Currie during my consultation he was so precise about my back. The first day of my treatments I was able to walk out of his office without crutches. Each time I did my treatments my heath became amazingly better. Dr Currie treatment method has truly made a difference in my life. I have been a patient at Hurley for years. They recently have come under new management. All…read moreyear, I have paid to meet my insurance deductible. At the beginning of the year, I met with a representative from Hurley so that I could pay whatever was needed to insure that was not a balance left when my deductible was met. I paid this amount at each visit. When I finally met my deductible, I was told there was a balance that I had to pay in addition to my 20% co-pay. Now, the day before my next appointment, I get a call telling me that there is a "temporary insurance glitch" on their end and I will not be able to receive my 20% co-pay for this visit either, but will have to pay an out-of-network deductible! I have already paid more than I would have paid as a cash patient all year! This is not okay! I was also told that it is "new policy" to keep credit card information in the computer system so that you no longer have to sign for the payment. When I asked to have my information removed from the computer system, I was told that they were unable to do that and would have to contact the IT company that handles their system to see if they could do it and they would call me back. I have not received any notificationn that this has been handled. Since the management change, the chiropractor and massage therapist I have seen for years are no longer at Hurley. My complaint is not with the new chiropractor or massage therapist, but with the business side of the practice. After years with Hurley, I am sad to say that I will be looking for a new chiropractor cliic where I feel my interests can be better served.

I called my insurance co. and apparently it made them mad. Now I owe 32hundred360. Not possible. I haven't been in there since April 2019. Filed a grievance with blue cross . What a rip off.

Every time I leave there I feel like a cooked noodle and so relaxed. The best part for me is that my insurance covers my visit and I get to get a 1 hour massage before my visit with the chiropractor...all billed under 1 co-pay which is cheaper than getting a massage alone at a spa.
