Most ignored me (not a good start), but of the ones that replied McMillan Williams seemed the most professional. I'm glad a used them, as they handled the whole process in a thorough and professional manner. All my enquiries were answered quickly, and they provided the guidance I neededed throughout the process. There were a little more expensive, but when you're buying a house, spending an extra couple of hundred pounds on a quality solicitor rather than the one getting a commision from the real estate agent is probably worth it.

Unsworth Rose Property Solicitors. I recently set out to buy…read morea property in London, that turned out to be a very difficult absent freeholder property purchase. A trusted friend recommended Unsworth Rose Property Solicitors, as they had done a great job helping her to buy a property in London. In her case, she felt that Unsworth Rose had given her very sound legal advice, that she felt she may not have benefitted from with other firms. In my case, there were significant issues to overcome in buying the property that I had chosen to buy. Unsworth Rose were excellent and have significant experience to call upon for persons buying a property. At every step of the way, they kept me informed, protected my interests and worked to make the purchase happen as soon as possible. I know that a couple of purchases had fallen through with my property, prior to my purchasing it. I attribute my successful purchase of the property to bringingUnsworth Rose into the equation. Without a doubt, the best money I spent throughout the process was on hiring Unsworth Rose. I recommend them very highly to anyone looking to hire property solicitors in London.

I would not recommend them, I purchased a property in 2009 and to this day have many problems with the purchase and sale of this property, which could have been avoided if they had taken more time to advise me personally and properly. I felt their style was too informal and their "leaflet" (that I never received) was on a sheet of paper - no logo or anything. Also, Mark Unsworth appeared to be quite friendly and constructive when discussing the inital problem, which was probably just to poach for information that he could use to his advantage - as soon as his professional negligence insurance got involved he was unfriendly and disrespectful. This is not a nice manner to work with people - I lost complete trust in them and regret having ever come across this firm. I will give an update on how my claim against them went.
