Want to do all of this alongside the most fun, creative and professional photographers in the business? Then De la Teja Boudoir is for you! I did an photo shoot as a surprise gift for my fiancé. I was very nervous at first, which I was told is very common, but I left their studio feeling like I could do anything and that the world better get out of my way because I am a force to be reckoned with. Heidi and Gerry listened to my creative ideas and brought their own. Throughout the shoot they would show me sample shots. Every time I saw one of those photos I could not believe it was me! Shadows and angles and their coaching alongside sassy outfits really do wonders, ladies! They know how to direct your body to make it look amazing. I left with sweet and romantic shots, sultry and intense shots and shots that look like pure art! It was so much fun to give the photos to my fiancé, but I have to say that I think they turned out to be more of a gift to myself than to him. It is incredibly empowering to see yourself look so amazing. I was always curious about doing a shoot like this and now that I have done it I wish I would have done it sooner and really want to do it again. I still walk around with my head held higher (probably to balance the crown I feel like I should be wearing all the time now). Everyone needs to give this a chance. If not for someone else, do this for YOURSELF. You will not regret it. The world has plenty of room for more Queens. Get it, girl!

Incredibly disappointed by my entire experience. We booked them due to recommendations from friends…read morefor our 2020 wedding, which ended up not being able to happen due to government restrictions for Covid. We communicated that with them and had rescheduled for August, which was additionally shut down due to government restrictions. We then planned to re-book for May 2021, which after going back-and-forth multiple times with dates ended up getting switched to a different DJ group within the organization, which was fine. We were then told by our venue, Riverview Gardens, that they were no longer hosting weddings, but because we had a contract, they would host ours. We met with them in person and ultimately decided that they were doing it more out of obligation, and we didn't feel comfortable spending a large amount of money to host a wedding with a venue that wasn't excited about us hosting our wedding there. We had gotten married in August 2020 in a small ceremony that followed Covid restrictions and had planned on doing our big wedding as planned in May 2021. At this point, it was such a drawn out process and I wasn't excited about planning a wedding for the fourth time and starting the venue search again. I received a full deposit refund from Riverview Gardens and reached out to Yo DJ about getting a refund on our deposit of $875 via email. I had reached out multiple times and never received a response to the DJ's assigned to our event as well as the general email. This has been going on for multiple years and to be honest I probably should've been more on top of it, but it's just a constant reminder that I didn't get my dream wedding and still have my original wedding dress hanging in my closet unworn as well as all of our decor in my basement that was unused, so it wasn't necessarily at the top of my mind. After an email stating I would pursue legal action, I finally got a response from Cory who informed me that they were not willing to work with me on issuing that refund but instead they would work with me if I wanted to have them host a different event. Which makes no sense because we're not having a big wedding so I'm not sure what I would even use them for. Overall, very disappointed with the entire interaction and now I am out $875. I have two follow up emails out to Cory from his response, both of which have gone without a response.
