My whole family has been seen here and at every visit we are quoted a copay amount and we pay it, then we receive a bill for a significant difference and additional amount owed. I called the office to better understand, especially when the math on the bill didn't add up (amount billed - credits equaled a number $100 higher than it should have). No call back expect trying to get us to schedule more appointments. My family now owes well over $1000 and my whole family is insured and we have paid the estimated copay at every visit.

She was friendly and we chatted a little as she was getting things set up. She took X-rays of my teeth and showed them to me and explained what I was seeing. She told me what she was going to do before doing different procedures. She asked me several times if I was doing OK during the exam. She checked my face, neck, lymph nodes, and jaw for swelling and lumps. She cleaned my teeth and shared what she was doing and seeing as she went through my mouth. Dr. Perman came in and checked my teeth and confirmed that I needed a root canal and a couple of fillings, etc. I have seen more than 6 dentists in my life and Dr. Perman is the best! Gail explained more about the root canal and gave me some suggestions about how to help prevent tooth decay. She also complemented me on how clean my teeth were. Becky, the office manager, always greets me with a smile and is so friendly. She found a time for me to get my follow-up work done as soon as possible. She printed an itemized statement showing the charge, insurance payment, and what I will need to pay. I went to this office to continue with my hygienist who had moved to Dental care of Canby…read more I needed some work done, A crown replacement and 3 fillings, and chose Dr Neal. My first impression was that he was not very personable. He made a comment in my first appointment in reply to my concern that one of my molars had needed extra anesthetic in the past, he implied that now I would be expecting the tooth to not get numb. Never during the first procedure or the followup did he check in to see how I was doing. The followup appointment was for the permanent crown to be seated. Again, not personable, which I could deal with if the work he did was good. He didn't want to numb the tooth where the crown was being put on, I was fine with that, but when the assistant went to clean it preparing for the permanent, it was extremely sensitive. I got the impression he was none too happy about having to numb it. At the end of the appointment he was giving instructions for after care, I was listening to him, but not looking at him. That's when he paused, and said "Look at me", at that point I felt like a 5 year old in trouble, it was very condescending! The work he did was good, but his lack of chair side manner, and the condescending way he spoke to me was enough to say, "not going back"!
