Be careful with this insurance company! The reviews here look fake if you just click and read the profiles of the people who reviewed. Appears to be a total bait and switch insurance brokerage operation, promising better premiums and then draining local businesses with policy audits and reviews that completely screw you. I wouldn't recommend them, ever; it's clear there is something going on here with the reviews. Mendacious and embarrassing that this insurance company can't distinguish themselves with ethical service. Most of the people seem to quit here, makes sense now. read more

Martin Insurance group has served my insurance needs for over 20 years and have repeatedly exceeded my expectations. Mo Shalibi has been invaluable to me in my recent debacle with property damage. He is caring courteous dependable and knowledgable, which is an unusual standard in today's world! Also, Frank Mooney is extremely knowledgable in the area of health care insurance. His broad understanding of the world continues to blow me away! Bravo, Peter Martin, for attracting such a marvelous and staff! I am a very grateful client! read more

Just had a meeting to go over medical insurance statements from both last year and this year with April Trulove, and I am thoroughly impressed. She was organized, professional, and friendly. I'm not sure anyone enjoys combing through insurance documents, and yet she made the experience for us just that. We have been working with her consistently over the past year, and she has advocated for us to the insurer on multiple occasions, making sure we would not be overcharged- and when we were, disputing the charges on our behalf. April is a great asset and representative of Martin Insurance Group. read more

If I could give this company less stars, I would. STAY AWAY. I had multiple policies with them and after earning FAT premiums for years, I asked them to clear up confusion on multiple policies and they did NOTHING. For months after e-mails , phone calls etc. They have horrible customer service and absolutely no follow through. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! read more

Specialties

Most agents took an online test to get their license and don’t have any idea what is in the policies they are asking you to buy. They just want to sell and quite frankly, they’re dangerous to work with. At Martin Insurance Group, our agents are held to a rigorous standard of education so you have confidence you are covered. When you call, text, leave us a message or send an email, we will respond quickly and answer your questions clearly. We also won’t just sell you a policy then disappear. You will hear from us frequently so you know about changes that affect you. We are always adding new carriers, new discount programs and services other agencies simply do not offer. When these new opportunities become available, you will be notified. You will have an agency working behind the scenes for you to find the best possible coverage.

I was very nervous to get health insurance thru the Colorado Healthcare website after having a horrible experience in another state. James Alvey at the Carbondale office helped me navigate through it all so I can avoid all the things that happened before. It was fast, easy, friendly and he quickly dealt with anything that popped up later. Thanks James! read more

She's thorough, knowledgeable, and professional when it comes to all our insurance needs. Insuring multiple homes, vehicles, and securing multiple term and whole life insurance policies for me, my husband, our kids and our many grandchildren has proven to be a cost-savings in comparison to other insurance companies. When our home premium decreased, Melody recommended a couple of riders such as Home Systems Protection (about $4/month) and when our boiler was unexpectedly red-tagged from a crack/collapse incident, insurance paid toward a replacement boiler/installation with no hassle. We wouldn't have known about or selected the rider without her guidance. When a bathtub flooded my rental property, Melody was available to answer my questions about the deductible and loss coverage, and she led me through the steps to start and follow through with the insurance claim. I always tell my kids, "Nobody looks out for you like you do." But I promise you, Melody and the team at Rodrigo Marquez State Farm do their best to get you covered adequately and protected financially in the event of unforeseen situations.
