They took advantage of my age, knowledge and grief and told me that the statue of limitations had ran out when they received the case within 2 months of the hospital killing my son. The hospital knew that what happen could be proven and thanks to HIPPA laws there will always be a foot print of when the Law firm received the medical records. The Oklahoma Bar Association will look to see how the case was settled and what was done with the case. I just want you to save yourself some grief before selecting this law firm. I spoke to Mr. Dirani on 06/13/2021 and he blamed his decease partner and ask me why I would waited so long. I responded asking him if he had ever had to watch one of his children murdered.

They petitioned the court and guided us on our successful bid to obtain guardianship of our grandaughter. Thankfully, the guardianship was finalized in September. Unfortunately though, their business practices are 2nd-rate. After the initial retainers were paid, they neglected to keep us updated on the balance owed on our account. No emails, no summaries, no letters, no running balance. And then 9 months -AFTER- the court proceedings wrapped up, they filed suit against the grandparents to collect an outstanding balance owed. I was served with papers threatening suit if over $900 wasn't rendered immediately. In my opinion, this was a very shoddy business practice. Of course I paid.

I was sued in 2021 and filed counterclaims that same year. My counterclaims were later dismissed without what I believed was clear written confirmation or authorization from me approving that action, which I felt placed my case at significant risk. When I later asked about refiling, I was told to "wait until October," but I did not receive a detailed explanation regarding the significance of that timeline or the potential consequences of waiting. After seeking a second opinion, the new attorney I hired advised me that I had approximately one year from the November dismissal date to refile the case in order to preserve the deposition testimony and evidence previously obtained by my original attorney, who could no longer represent me due to a career change. My understanding was that missing that deadline could have limited the use of previously gathered evidence and negatively affected my ability to defend my case. Fortunately, I retained another attorney who successfully handled the matter and ultimately helped me obtain a dismissal with prejudice and a default judgment on the opposing party's counterclaims, despite previously being told the case would be difficult or unlikely to succeed. Based on my personal experience, I would not hire Brian again. I felt the representation resulted in unnecessary time, expense, and stress, and I believe my case was placed at unnecessary risk.

It would be wise to ASK people what they want from your firm before being so very arrogant. I'll tell stories the rest of my life about the ridiculous rant I heard from one of the attorneys. My advice: do not under any circumstance call this firm. I've used attorneys in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Dublin, as well as Dallas and Oklahoma City. This firm struck me as a clown show, and a rude one at that. Another firm took my case within minutes of these people being so rude and stupid.

My wife and I had an incident where a young lady crossed the path of my truck.
