Have visited several times and have had great experiences with staff and love the beautiful grounds and amenities available.

My mother has lived here for almost 2 years. She has loved the facility. The staff is very supportive and she has made many new friends. The facility underwent major renovations when she first moved in & everything looks nice. She enjoys the scenic walking paths with her little dog. Our only complaint would be the lunches available for purchase Monday-Friday aren't always a good value for the amount she pays. Sometimes it appears it's frozen food just reheated and not freshly made. read more

A majority of the senior citizens at this community have been without air conditioning units in their apartments since early spring and the management company will not give a definitive date when they'll be installed. The complex, recently taken over by a new owner and management company, have created a filthy, dirty complex since early this year. There is so much dust and dirt in the buildings and the ducts. Now, little old ladies are forced to leave their apartments to sit in common areas to keep cool. SHAME ON YOU MARSH POINTE!!! read more

My parents lived at Marsh Pointe for 12 years plus and liked living there. They had an end unit which was well lit and airy. My dad passed away early last year and on November 15, 2015 we had to move my Mom in a nursing home. She is now 84 and doing about as well as she can. We gave 30 days notice to vacate and played by the rules to get Mom's deposit back. 5 emails later (no exaggeration) to Shelley, their business manager, 3 calls to Aimee and a final 6th email 57 days later, involving our family attorney, finally got a response. Instead of a check they sent Mom a bill citing repairs! By Michigan law they should have responded within 30 days. Over the 12-13 years my parents lived there there was no work done...just replaced carpet with the cheapest grade, paper thin although they responded to ac and heating repairs. While my parents liked the environment, their business office leaves much to be desired. Hence the 3 stars. read more
