Talking to Michelle Marrs the first time she was very friendly and just coming back from vacation . I was filing for bankruptcy and she talked me into a chapter 13 because we had IRS debt . I asked her how much this would cost and she told me $4500 and $600 to get started . Well , to make a long story short we ended up on a payment plan with trustee that we have to make payments to every month. I also owned a business and she told me to stop paying all my bills. So I did, of course when everything was said and done I was getting late notice istill from a business loan that I had and I told her I had stopped paying that, and she told me then oh, I shouldn't have stopped paying that one, but she never made that clear in the beginning so they are very wishy-washy. Again, poor communication They were very slow. I think we started my case in like February and I don't think we filed until like July . All of that time she had like three different people working on my case and asking for the same things twice or three times that I had already sent to one of their people and they had no communication between them so I ended up sending it two or three times so very frustrating and probably is what added to my bill that I wasn't aware of because in the end because i hadn't kept paying the loan builder loan the trustee thought when that payment was done of course I'd have $300 a week available to pay them more and she had to go in and file paperwork so my payment wouldn't go up substantially . I don't know what paper work she had to do to keep my payment the same , but of course that only took like a week but , that cost me another like $1200 which she did not communicate with me about or ask if that would be okay with me . I thought it might be a couple hundred dollars not $1200 . I would request one person to work on your case and keep track of your minutes I suppose and don't communicate with them more than you have to. They will charge you for every little second you called them and of course things took twice as long as they would have because they she had two people working on my case besides herself And both people asking for the same things I would just use a different lawyer and I would not file a chapter 13 again if I didn't have to, I'd want more things clear from the beginning and signed and she told me $4500. It ended up being over 7000 and then having to pay on the IRS they will wipe out all back taxes except forvthe last three years . I'm probably gonna be making payments. I don't even know how long five years or more which was what I wanted to get away from for was why I was filing bankruptcy wasn't to get into more payments.
