Very affordable hotel, close to airport, there is no any restaurant or fast food or coffee shop walking distance. Hote isl very nice and clean. We were able to check in at 1pm ( really appreciate that since regular check in time is around 3-4). Rooms are specious an clean , no noise at all from outside. They have little fridge and coffee machine. Shower gel and body lotion smell so good. They have hairdryer. There is a bar and restaurant in the lobby but we haven't try this time. Parking is in front of hotel and it is pretty big. Nice selection of TV programs. read more

The staff is very nice. The lighting in my room is weird. There is no overhead light. The light behind the mirror in the bathroom has a high pitched hum that I can't stand so can't use that light. You can hear the highway and air traffic probably more than you would like. They say there is room service, but no menu in the room or online. Housekeeping will come in if your sign isn't on the door, the took a few things and they didn't understand English so I was a bit challenging finding out who did and where my things were I did eventually. I travel for work each week and was impacted by yesterday's global outage, meaning I was stuck in Mesa/Phoenix overnight. I was able to secure a last-minute booking at this Marriott and enjoyed a nice, quite, cool night in a clean, comfy room rather than sitting at the airport waiting for my plane to keep getting delayed, and eventually cancelled. I took a swim in their absolutely beautiful outdoor pool, bright at early as the heat is wild again today, going up to 110 degrees. Staff is very welcoming and they were able to get me checked in and into my room swiftly, which was awesome as their computer system was also impacted by the outage. The Bonvoy Elite lounge is closed on weekends, so I was not able to check that out. Nice and quite, clean, near the airport. A good stay! I'd come here again if I needed a hotel close to the airport. read more

Although there are many airport hotels, this one was chosen because if offered free airport transfers after 10 pm. Because of foot neuropathy navigating long distances is often a challenge. 1) to ensure there would be transfer I had the concierge of another Marriott contact the hotel there'd be transport available nearby the luggage claim area. This was confirmed in writing. 2) The wheelchair attendant could not take me further than the area near baggage claim which meant I could use the wheelchair but had to transfer with my luggage and carry on to the skytrain which take several stops. The Phoenix airport skyrail takes several loops and climbs and swoops which caused me to flail; some would call this a traumatic experience. Finally David a very nice Marriott employee met me at the 44th Station and when we arrived at the hotel, they could not at first find my reservation. 3) The next morning my talk with the front desk nicely expressed my dissatisfaction. The agent asked what I suggested for resolution. My reply was not to get involved in that other than it seemed reasonable to provide the difference in Marriott point redemption of the nearby hotels compared to this hotel. She said she would talk with her manager. 4) Never was I contacted about the issue; a few days later 1,000 points were added to my account. Wouldn't you think that this hospitality company would notify me before checking out? Interestingly, the Marriott hotel in the Caribbean I had just checked out had a power and back up power failure and I had to walk down 10 flights of stairs. As a titanium for life Marriott Bonvoy member ( and decades long shareholder of their stock) this seems disappointing. When it comes to rules it's for the guests, not the hotel, as I've seen previous examples how Marriott would rather toss a few points to guests instead of resolving the problem. For example, one of my regular stays is at a Marriott property which has rooms which lack heating or cooling and it seems the hotel would rather issue points to guests instead of fixing the problem. 5.) A good point was the employee at the lounge who replied to my apology for dropping scrambled eggs on the floor saying there was no need to apologize. 6. At check out was given the invoice without follow up about my stay or farewell greeting. read more

After staying one night at the worst place possible, and spending half a day looking for another place to stay that is affordable and close to the airport, this wonderful gem popped up! I couldn't be more happier to find this place. I booked a king and request a roll bed for my son, since that was the only one available at the time. when we went to check in this wonderful lady (wish I got her name) at the front desk asked if we would like the change our room to a 2 double queen! Umm yes please! Bed/ pillows are feather top ( I'm writing this in that said bed lol) so comfortable! Room is very clean, bathroom is very nice, I like how they have eucalyptus body soap. They have an outdoor heated pool and a lounging area with a fire pit. They also have a shuttle that runs all day/night to and from the airport. I would definitely recommend staying here. read more

Usually, the front desk staff at Marriott is incredibly friendly and welcoming. This time, however, felt very different. When I arrived, there was no "How are you today?" or "Thank you for being a Platinum member" -- just a quick "The concierge lounge is closed." To make matters worse, the breakfast voucher I was given had the wrong date, so I had to return to the desk to get it corrected. The response I received was simply, "Okay, I can just change the date," with no apology or acknowledgment. Overall, the experience didn't feel like the Marriott standard I've come to expect. I specifically chose this property for the lounge benefit, but it was closed, and the service felt indifferent. This feels like an older Marriott hotel, so the rooms are larger than your newer hotels. There seems to be plenty of parking and the location is convenient to 202 freeway and close to the airport. The elevators are older, but they come pretty quickly. The lobby looks like it was renovated and has some nice seating areas. The front desk doesn't seem to be staffed constantly, so use mobile check in if you can. They are serious about the check out time. Housekeeping knocked on my door 10 minutes before check out. When I told her I was almost ready to go, she seemed annoyed. read more

This is an excellent hotel. We came here after our Sedona vacation and stayed one day prior to our departure from PHX. The reception was really nice, although they made it known that their Concierge Lounge was closed for the holidays. That is about one best perks for Bonvoy Ambassador levels so it was disappointing, but everything else was superb. We returned our car rental a few hours after arrival. The rental car center is about ten minutes away and it is at the end of the world - or the airport, that is. But after returning the car, the hotel shuttle picked us up at the American Airlines terminal and returned to the hotel. The rooms are gigantic, comfortable and very well appointed. The colors lend themselves to resting and recuperating. Several of the details deserve mentioning, such as USB outlets at each night table and even more USB outlets on the very modern desk lamp. Bathrooms are impeccable and well appointed. Refrigerator included. You can't ask for more. And the entire place was spotlessly clean. That night we had dinner at the hotel. We started with Gyoza, which was succulent, and followed it with a chicken cove salad dinner and a grilled salmon with Basmati rice and vegetables which was remarkable. Two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc help wash it down.... Once in the room for the night, we noticed the soundproofing is quite good and we had an extremely restful evening Next morning, the hotel shuttle picked us up right outside and took us to the airport to commence our journey back. Overall a superb hotel, recently renovated, extremely well appointed, with courteous and efficient staff. read more

I stayed two nights at this hotel back in early October 2024, but was charged for 5 nights on my credit card. I have been trying for three months now to get this hotel to do the right thing and fix it, but I continue to be ignored and made promises with no follow through. I have been an Ambassador Elite and currently a Titanium Elite member, but that doesn't seem to matter. It was a fraudulent charge and I have submitted all paperwork to show this. Stayed at this hotel so that we would be close to the airport plus they have a shuttle which can take you to the airport. Shuttle comes every half hour. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. She took my name for the shuttle to ensure I'd have a place and he brought us water. We went up to the room and after settling in decided a swim was in order. I was a little sad that the pool isn't heated as the day had cooled and the water was cool until you swam a few laps. And no hot tub. The gym is only available by appointment so if you want to use it, reserve your spot. We still enjoyed being outdoors since Colorado was snowing and my friends were all jealous. The shower was my favorite of all the ones we encountered during our time in Arizona. I loved the color of the large tiles and the shower handle being on the opposite side from the shower head so my hair remained dry easier when turning off the water. Also the towel holder being close to the shower stall. Only thing better would have been if it was located by the door which opened. The bed and pillows were average. The patio area was amazing as we could sit outside and watch the planes taking off. Downside to our room was being above the freeway and the traffic was loud. Even on the 12th floor it was loud. Between that and the weird, extremely loud thumping noise originating from the square bolted door on the wall which occurred all night at intervals, sleep was disrupted. And the front desk person didn't offer anything to make up for that only to tell us that others on our floor had also complained. Seriously? Maybe do something to fix it? The hotel also does not offer a complimentary breakfast which made me extremely grumpy. They have breakfast but you have to pay for it. Even coffee has to be paid for. Really? The shuttle came and Junior, who had also helped us the day before, drove the shuttle. He helped me onto the van and put away our luggage. He definitely is someone who does his best to provide excellent customer service everytime. I appreciated his professionalism and can do attitude. Let me say that I would have rated them four stars if I could have gotten some sleep that night or if they had said they were looking into the issue and offered some points. This hotel is not super close to the airport rental car center - it is about a 10 minute drive minimum. The hotel is very nice and aesthetically pleasing. The room gets plenty of sunlight or even artificial lighting during the evenings, which is a big deal to me considering my last hotel had very poor lighting. The headboard nightstand combination has easy-to-access outlets and USB-A plugs for charging your devices at night. The desk lamp is sleek and also has universal outlets built into it. Lastly, there are also a panel of outlets and USB-A plugs on the other side of the desk (next to the shelving) which makes it easy to plug in your devices while working at the desk. read more

I have stayed here a few times now and each time has been wonderful. For this specific stay we got a complimentary room upgrade to a suite on the top floor. This is the lounge floor but sadly the lounge was closed. The lounge is closed on the weekends. The main reason we stay here is for the complementary airport shuttle. It runs every 30min, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is very convenient and removes lots of stress. Trying to find a parking spot getting to your terminal. The shuttle will drop you off where you need to be. The hotel parking lot has security and is safe to keep your car there for an extended time. The hotel restaurant is very good and convenient. The place is very clean and classy. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel if you are flying out of Phoenix airport. read more

If you have any kind of status with Marriott, it gets you into the lounge, the lounge that is absolutely horrible. It offers a continental breakfast and at dinner time you'll get some carrot sticks and maybe some broccoli dip and some ranch dressing and chips and salsa. I have visited 140 countries and I have lifetime status with Marriott. I will never darken the doorway of this property again. Lifetime titanium, elite and breakfast isn't even included in the room and what they're offering in the lounge is butt kiss. The food restaurant is extremely overpriced as well. Ambassador elite member and they said they close their concierge lounge for the weekend (which includes Friday). Then they tried to say they upgraded us to the concierge level but the concierge level is closed and Titanium members get upgrades to concierge access anyway. We made our reservation 2 days prior to stay here with my sons football team They offered us 2 queens for $89 We booked it. For Friday-Sunday They took our card information address etc and said they would email us our confirmation. I never bothered to check since we have never had any issues in the past with ANY hotel we have stayed at. Friday night we are driving all the way from California so I tell my husband to call to let them know we will be checking in late A Front Desk girl by the name of Katie answered us and we told her we were going to be late. She ask for the name of the reservation and let's us know there is no reservations by that name.... my husband tells her we booked 2 days ago and if she could check again...... Her words exactly were " im sorry but my computer is not pulling up no reservations so I have a hard time believing you actually made the reservation" My husband told her how is that possible we called this number this hotel... Katie trying to spreak over my husband says " SIR I'm not the one that makes reservations" so my husband hangs up. i then call back and talk to her and she transfers me to the booking agents and we they tell us their is no reservation It was so how is it possible they could of lost our reservation like that... We made new reservations were they gave us a different price 113 from our original reservations. This hotel left me so angry and honestly if it wasn't for my sons team staying here I wouldn't be here. Clean stay if you are in transit between the PHX airport. We arrived here and the staff were very friendly and smooth with check in. They gave us a high floor that was quiet, as requested. Our room had a beautiful view of the red rocks, and looked like the hotel was recently renovated as everything from the lighting, furniture, or carpeting looked brand new. Couple of notes: -You should arrive a little early for the free shuttle, which arrives every half and top of hour. It is first come first served. While we arrived first, there wasn't really a queue and the driver wasn't there (the shuttle was parked) so there was sort of a scramble for the van and those waiting early with us didn't make it on. They should probably do a "line starts here" sign for busier days. Otherwise, the driver was very friendly (bring some tip!). -Breakfast costs money, can be sit down or to go. Kids enjoyed the parfait and 2hot sides, but total was over $20...yeesh. -There is a large A/C vent right next to the bed. It caused a cold draft so we turned off the A/C, and it was also pretty darn dusty. -Weird: cabinet for a mini fridge, but empty. No fridge. Would be useful having one in there. -Finally, you have been warned: the toilet is INSANELY loud and powerful. Spooked my kids every time. Well normally Marriott properties score 4-5, but this property prides itself on keeping the bar low with cheap excuses. Out of the two stars, First goes to the rooms, clean and comfortable, would've earned a second star but the 40lb comforter was waaaaay too much, on the floor it goes. Second star goes to the food and service in the lobby restaurant. Two nights if dinner and both times the personal service and food was way beyond great! No more stars because at this hotel, they've decided to stay at ordinary and failed to grasp the total concept of extraordinary. First, if you want a refrigerator, you have to call in advance and have one bright to your room as they're blaming the empty hole in the room on COVID and the cost of having a refrig in all the rooms. Can you imagine if airlines only added seats when someone booked a flight? Why only this Marriott? And the business center...stuck in the corner of the lounge/restaurant area, but wait, this Marriott charges by the minute for use! Guess that revenue could be used to buy refrigerators.....oh wait, no one is paying. Asked the front desk if that was correct and the gentleman behind the counter proudly said yes they do charge for the use of the computers and printer. Stay healthy and save your money and walk right down the road to the Holiday Inn, all complimentary and they offered a bottled water. Extraordinary to just Ordinary, what a shame! read more

Great hotel. Great staff and service. My room was exceptionally clean with the exception of the refrigerator which still had some food and drinks in it. No big deal. Nice walk in shower. Bar/restaurant area was very convenient and the food and drinks were very good. I was able to get a ride back from the airport as well as to the airport without any issues. Approximately 5-10 minute ride from the airport. I didn't have time to check out the fitness center, but saw it was pretty nice. The concierge lounge was closed in the evenings, but open for breakfast. Unfortunately I needed to leave too early to have breakfast. read more

The air conditioner here is noisy but you can count on Marriott for a comfortable bed. That I like. I also like the free shuttle to and from the airport and the free parking. The one thing that's strange is the new powerful toilet. I recommend that you remove yourself and close the lid before you flush. There is so much pressure it's like a life-force is trying to suck you down the pipes and water works.......It's very VERY strange and frightening. We just stayed there for one night before our flight and had a bad experience. The headboard had a hole and there was a pill on the floor. The creamers for coffee were expired. The room was probably not cleaned because the tv controller was out of the plastic to begin with. One of the night stand had a light bulb out. The view was horrible. There was no fridge in the room. I am disgusted with this property. As a Titanium Elite with Bonvoy one of the reasons I book Marriotts is for concierge lounge access. Upon checking in to this property I was told that their lounge was closed on the weekends (I checked in on Friday night). I was offered a breakfast voucher instead (which I already qualified for as a Titanium member). This hotel's ownership apparently thinks selling a product and not providing the services promised is ok. I do not. I will not be staying here again and I would encourage others yo consider different properties. read more

Aloha, I am flying home to Hawaii after a long, great trip with my son. I was so tired that I left my brand-new Lenovo laptop in a box somewhere in the hotel. The staff came together as a team. They gave me full support, and the laptop was found, thankfully. The staff was gracious. Marriott/Bonvoy members receive new upgraded rooms on the 5th floor. Great airport property, albeit not right at the airport. Spent only one night at this hotel due to delays that prevented me from going all the way home. Room was beautiful, appears to have been newly remodeled. Bed was SUPER comfortable. After a long day of travel, it was incredible to literally sink in to the bed. Bathroom was well appointed. Large shower with a handle that didn't force you to open the door & be soaked by the water upon turning it on. LOVE this newly decorated bath! Wish all properties were like this. Only downfall, and it's really not a HUGE deal, is the shuttle service from airport is by request only, so you have to call when you arrive at baggage claim, to confirm your pick up point. Shuttle is a small van, which was full when it picked me up, so I was gifted with a seat in the back row.... it was the bumpiest ride I have EVER taken on a hotel shuttle. Temperature was also awfully hot in that back row! All in all, however, a nice comfortable stay! Would definitely stay here again if my travels ever necessitated a stay near the Phoenix airport! read more
