What a delightful find after an afternoon of paintballing! Our party of 8 got here around 3pm and our waitress Julia was complete patience and grace. We ordered a bottle of sparkling pink Prosecco that was delicious! The feta and hummus appetizers were amazing. And the side of tzatziki should be requested with everything. This place is a little gem in a sea of chain restaurants. As a New Yorker visiting the area, I wasn't sure where I can find vegan / vegetarian food that won't be full of carbs. Enter Marrakesh. I had an appetizer platter of cheeses, hummus, and falafel. The falafels were so tasty, light, and cooked to perfection. The hummus and tahini were tasty and yummy. The ambiance is casual with a North African motif. The waiter was helpful and extremely nice. The kitchen is open and clean. I highly recommend it. read more

Marrakesh is a family run restaurant that I frequent at least once per week. The food is prepared fresh and is traditional Mediterranean. They import their Olive Oil directly from olive grove farms and the flavor is astounding. The spices they use are "secret" family blends. Can't suggest just one item on the menu as everything is delicious. However, Chicken Tawook is my favorite. read more

Had high expectations for this place given the previous reviews. First of, I would give the staff 10 out of 5 stars! They are fantastic and are very enthusiastic and welcoming. As for the food, this was a let down. Baba Ghanouch: Lacks flavor and not fully cooked eggplants. Cabbage Salad: not bad Lamb chops and rice: Lacking flavor Greek Salad: No dressing, tasteless Batata Harah: Spicy, but doesn't resemble original dish Pita: Maybe out of a packet and heated in microwave? Labneh: Probably our of a container, so it was passable. As for the dishes that were actually cooked in the kitchen (I.e. not pickled or from a container), they lacked flavor and did not resemble any dishes we had during travel to the Middle East region. Once again, the staff are an absolute delight, but perhaps the kitchen needs to step us their game. Otherwise, this place has potential of becoming a gem in this town and elsewhere. Wow! Totally blown away with the great food. What a hidden gem. The service was great. You get a basket of pita bread when your salad/appetizers arrive at the table. We ordered the meat lover's platter and it was good for 2 people. The meats were tasty and delicious and there was even salmon kebabs n the platter. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our server was great. Friendly and attentive. Would definitely return. Too full to try but the desserts also all looked very good. read more

Definitely not a family restaurant. I've had some great experiences with Turkish food. I generally like Turkish food more than Greek, even though there are a lot of similarities. Problem is, I could tell that is wasn't going to be a great experience by looking at the prices on the menu. This isn't an observation of being all hipster (like how PBR became the rage, because the palatability to price ratio is actually decent with PBR, and infinitely better for hipsters). The prices here are much higher than some of the mom and pop Turkish places I've been to. Outside of the prices this place committed multiple sins. Service was glacial, food came out cold, orders were mixed up, and two dishes were sent back. I'd love to delve into each of the 5 dishes, but it isn't worth it given the previous sins. Considering the place wasn't even a quarter full on a weekend night, the food and service here was pretty unforgivable. They tried to make up for the shortcomings, but even the substitutes were guilty of being cold. I was surprised that something wasn't on fire just as a fun dichotomy. Maybe it is your cup of tea, but I won't be back. read more

Authentic Mediterranean food, amazing atmosphere. It is family owned, the owners are very warm and welcoming. The staff are very efficient, excellent customer service. I am vegan and have introduced this restaurant to a few of my non-vegan coworkers, they love it. My favorite dish is the veggie platter with lentil rice and the tahini salad is amazing. My favorite alcoholic beverage is the sex on the sand. My favorite non-alcoholic beverage is the juicy julep. I frequent this restaurant a lot and enjoy myself every time. read more

So I'm not huge into Greek style, but I do like food, a lot. I like food so much I eat it like 3-4 a day. Anyhow, this joint had a real old school feel. Like straight out of the 70's diner. I liked that. I got the beef shawarma, and I have to say it was a little less flavorful than I would have hoped for. However another person in my party got the chicken shawarma and the chicken had tons of flavor! Overall I would go again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Like if someone was like "yo let's go here" I'd respond with "eh, I mean.. alright cool let's go." read more

Very nice establishment. Allows mask wearing to be optional which is a huge plus for us. Server seemed like a good person. But overall not a good experience. Pros: drinks, apps, pitas, and salads were great. Cons: 3 out of 4 lamb meals, the lamb was tough/dry/over cooked. This to us is very odd since "lamb" is the cornerstone of mediterranean cooking. Lamb chops were cooked well. 5th meal, Moussaka, had way too much oil. Also, we JUST started eating our salad and they brought out the main courses. Then we were not even done with the main courses when the server asked if we wanted desert. On our way out my wife found a roach on the back of her shirt. She sat in a corner couch seat where we suspect there may be alot of food scraps trapped - an obvious magnet for these nastry creatures. We will not be going back to Marrakesh. read more

My sister and I took our uncle for his 97th birthday to Marrakesh. I was skeptical at first that this Italian guy would like the meal but he LOVED the food!
