This is my first review or rating of any kind for any type of business or individual. But, I had to finally give in and commit to one because she deservingly earned it.
My situation required an attorney because my Lawful Permanent Resident card was close to expiring and I wanted to take the route of becoming a Naturalized Citizen. The reason for hiring an attorney is I was denied the opportunity 6 years ago because of a DUI on my record and I lost out on my application and fingerprinting fees back then. I didn't want that to happen to me again and this time I was determined to have some support on my side outside of my own family members.
I came to the Law Office of EB Alejo in Chula Vista because his office was close to me and his firm specialized in immigration law. After meeting with Mr. Alejo, I was assigned to meet with Ms. Marquez-Carrasquillo regarding my case. I brought in all paperwork from my original application and all current documents to start my application process.
I only met Ms. Marquez-Carrasquillo one time face to face, but that 2 hour meeting reassured me that my application was in good hands. I just felt confident that there would be no hold up this time around. Ms. Marquez-Carrasquillo continued to reach out to me via email regularly and kept me abreast of my application process.
My total time from applying, to fingerprinting, to interviewing, and now within a few weeks to my swearing in ceremony will be approximately a little over 4 months! She made this whole process seem too easy and comfortable for me especially with her professional, calming demeanor and vast experience in the immigration sector.
If you ever need anyone to work with on your immigration issues, I highly recommend Ms. Marquez-Carrasquillo!!! read more
