From day 1, our Marlette home has given us nothing but problems. The drain in the guest shower was leaking out the bottom of the home, the kitchen had a leak, the wiring in the living room was a total mess... although that can be blamed on the setup team who are not Marlette employees, they're trained by Marlette. And then yesterday, the big bombshell. My wife's vacuuming in the utility room and notices some water on the floor with rust in it right by the furnace. On further inspection, there's mold growing in the drywall there and in the storage closet next to the furnace. She gets me to investigate it, and it turns out that there's a condensate drain from the furnace that's leaking into the furnace, which then dripped out onto the floor. The drywall, being hung all the way to the floor (not 1/2" up as is standard practice for this very reason) was soaking up all the water and starting to come apart. The molding was also going spongy and was (pun intended) molding as well.
The furnace manufacturer is Intertherm. I suggest you also look up that name, from what I've seen in, their furnaces have a 20% satisfaction rating. Trash.
