I live in Oklahoma City, with sooo many salons near me, but I drive 2 hours to see them every time! I naturally have extremely long, very dark hair, and lately I've been going blonde. Oddly enough, after all of my consistent bleaching, my hair is HEALTHIER every time I leave the chair! I have followed all the hair trends, and they always know what they're doing. My stylist is Christine (the owner), but I have watched all of the stylists and seen their work, and would trust any of them with my hair. My trim of my hair was perfectly done. My hair can be a bit tricky to cut, but she did a great job. I didn't have to fix it when I got home as I've done on countless other occasions. The shop is pretty small. I'm pretty sure the only person who works here is the owner, so I wouldn't advise bringing in a crowd. Also, I'm pretty sure she is appointment only, but you can always stop in and see and/or grab some awesome soaps and such.

Not being familiar with the salons in this area I went with the recommendation received from a couple of my daughters friends. Nervously I made the call to The Crop to arrange the appointment. Wow!! I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I could be seen. The receptionist said Sarah would be available for me within the hour. I quickly got ready and now feeling excited for my appointment. As I walked into the salon I was very pleased with the design of the salon. It is very clean and well decorated. I approached the receptionist and she greeted me with a very friendly smile and welcomed me to the salon. She referred me to Sarah and was escorted to her station. My appointment with Sarah went so well...she is such a kind person. Sarah took the time to listen to my request and asked pertinent questions. I showed her a couple of pictures that were examples of the style I was hoping for. After talking about the hair color and style I was wanting it was time to get started. I'm so happy that I found this place though. I go to McKenzie Pugh and she is AMAZING! She is so sweet and never makes you feel uncomfortable either. I absolutely loved how she did my hair also.
