I had to ask a different employee for my size in another pair of ASICS. When they brought them out, the original employee said, "We don't carry carbon-plated shoes." The ASICS shoes I originally asked about are not carbon-plated in any way, so this was not only unhelpful but incorrect. While I was trying on the shoes, he offered no assistance or conversation. As I was taking them off, he simply said, "The Superblasts just have more energy output." Again, no actual effort was made to help me understand which shoe would be the best fit for my needs. Overall, the experience was extremely off-putting. If you're looking for knowledgeable, friendly help finding the right running shoe, I would recommend going somewhere else in Lycoming County.

It was organized pretty well, but the prices were high for the quality of the merchandise. I realize this is a second hand shop but some of the clothing, shoes, items should have been thrown in the trash! One woman was in the back organizing books while two other women were carrying on so loudly it was traveling through the entire store. I will also say that two children (I think a staff members) were playing and kind of destroying the children's area. It was extremely hard to look through. I wouldn't return to this location any time soon.

I enjoy their summer flip flops they have on the wall. I've gotten some pretty nice jewel encrusted flip flops for the summer in the past too. I've purchased FILA and other great brands like Asics too. I hate shoe shopping for sneakers- it's a huge ordeal for me and my messed up feet. The shoes are in line with pricing I'm used to, but you can get some remarkable shoes on clearance here. Don't forget their selection of accessories like handbags. Love the Shoe Department. However, this does mean I get to go first. When I was a kid, well over 30 years ago, my mom and dad used to take me to Gino's to get shoes. Back then, they were just one of a number of shoe stores in the Back Mountain. Today they are the last, staying around with good quality and great customer service. First, a warning. Gino's specializes in kids' shoes and athletic shoes. They do have some men's and women's shoes, but not the selection you would find at a department store. But in the types of shoes they specialize, I have not seen better quality, and the selection rivals many children's shoe stores. On our last trip there, I was impressed by the sheer variety of toddler and kid's Crocs they sold. What is even more impressive about Gino's though, it the customer service. Even though the store was busy when we arrived, we were helped relatively quickly. My wife and I really wanted to get Crocs for our little boy, but the pair we wanted was too big in his size and too small in the next one down. The salesman actually took the time to show us why that particular style was cut different and pointed out the others that were not a standard cut either. He must have known how everyone of them was cut, because he suggest one color, that fit perfectly. How many stores still have sales staff that know the product that well? Finally, Gino's remembers its customers. As we were checking out, I said hello to the owner. After not seeing me around the community for over 20 years, he still remember who I was, and we had a really nice conversation. Does it get any better?

Signs posted everywhere that there are no public restrooms so when my 3 year old had to use restroom I was prepared to leave and come back but the woman behind the counter said we could use the restroom for an emergency when I asked where the closest place was!
