I hired Mark to enlarge a kitchen door entryway to make room for a door on my new refrigerator. Also to replace a rotted facia board on the outside of my home. He tented off the kitchen doorway to keep dust from going through my home, and he didn't mind my two dogs barking at him from my gated off hallway. Mark did great work, he was friendly, and the price was right. I would certainly hire him again. read more

I am handicapped and asked Mark for a quote to hang up some shelves and my pictures. Marks quote was extremely fair and his worker Dennis came over and did a great job and did it with an amazing attitude and super friendly and reasonable! I not only would highly recommend this business but will use this business the next time I need professional help! Thank you to both Mark and Dennis again! read more

I can't say enough about Mark. He is friendly, courteous, and not only that, but called ahead and arrived on time. Following a pipe leak under the slab of my house we had water damage and mold. I called Mark to help pull out my dishwasher and kitchen faucet to cut costs for restoration work. He not only did all that in record time, but helped me out with something else after I already paid him for his work. (And his rate was VERY reasonable.) I have to add that this was the second time I called him. The first time he took care of a bedroom ceiling fan and fixed a vent pipe. So when it comes to household repairs what can't he do? And just for the record, I am not related to him and I never met him before he came in to do work. The guy did a great job and deserves to be credited for it. Will I use his services again if I need home repair? Damn straight! read more

I needed someone to take care of some household items and was referred to Mark by a personal friend of mine. I contacted Mark and scheduled a time for him to come by my house and estimate adding some badly needed recessed lights in my dimly lit kitchen. He called me when he was on his way and showed up on time. After looking at my kitchen he quoted me an extremely fair price for adding the recessed lights with LED bulbs. I also asked him to quote adding dimmer switches to the lights and replacing a few electrical outlets. We scheduled a time & date to have the work done. Mark arrived with all of the needed materials and installed everything the same day. The work looks excellent and he did a very nice job of cleaning up after completing the work. I will definitely have Mark' Handyman Services do more work for me when I need it and I will refer him to all of my friends & neighbors. Thank you Mark! read more

This ad is in regard to responsiveness, as I haven't had any services performed. I liked the reviews I saw on Yelp so have tried calling and emailing with no response for over a week. Disappointed, as I really wanted to use this guy! read more

Mark did a great job fixing our lights at our business! He was honest and friendly and did a great job. He showed up when he was supposed to and was really friendly and professional. We will definitely be calling Mark in the future when we need something fixed! It is hard to find a reliable and honest person so we were happy to find him! read more

Every job Mark has done for us whether at my house or my commercial building has been Exemplary. From deck repair to making high quality benches has been great. Reasonably priced. read more

Contacted Marc to do a whole series of assemblies and installations. Spoke to him a week before, confirmed by text. The day of the installations he did not show up. When I called him to ask him if he was still coming he made up an excuse saying I had not called him back and he was busy. I sent him a copy of the confirmation that he had sent me. Not only did he not apologize but he blamed it on me. I found him to be incredibly disorganized and unprofessional. Based on this I would NOT recommend his services to anyone. Especially if you actually want the work done on the agreed upon date or at all for that matter. read more

Called and Mark informed he would make it on Wednesday afternoon but I requested I wouldn't be available. He said he would try and juggle his appointment but NEVER heard from him. Glowing Yelp reviews ? read more

I, too, was excited to use Mark but am having a hard time getting a response from him. He must already have enough work.

I live in San Diego and have a rental property in Anaheim. I was very fortunate to find Mark because he is so dedicated and have always answered or returned my phone call. He is very honest and extremely helpful.he gives good advice on whatever work needs to be done. He is so friendly ,with great bedside manners that it made us feel we know him for a long time. There are no words to express how delightful it is to know him. He put our minds at peace and we were worry free . His work speaks for itself!! read more

I am so glad I found Mark. He quoted me a very reasonable price to install two bathroom exhaust fans/lights. He was on time, professional, and cheerful. He was not pushy and he allowed me time to find just the right units that I wanted to have installed. Six months later, when I was ready, it just took a quick note to Mark and he was out within a few days. Again on time, he protected the area he was working in, was efficient with his time, and cleaned up thoroughly after himself (even taking the trash out with him!). He also replaced an old corroded garbage disposal which I decided to have done at the last minute, which was not an easy job. Today, I received a hand written note of thanks from Mark. Very class act! I would recommend him to my best friends and family members and hire him again in a second! Thank YOU, Mark!! read more

Thought Mark the Handyman had an impressive website and it mentioned he installs countertops. Left a message, never got a call back. Seems to be a constant theme with him. It's to bad too, my whole house needs remodeling. read more

I called Mark the Handyman and we scheduled a date and time for him to repair a toilet on my rental property. I promptly followed up with an email providing Mark my contact information as well as my tenants info. Mark never responded to my email so I followed up with a phone call and again he failed to respond. The day of the service my tenant said he didn't show up so I gave him one last chance by sending a text and leaving a voice mail and again he failed to respond. I would not waste my time with this handyman! He apparently does not want the business and was rude to not return my calls nor show up the day of the service leaving my tenant high and dry. read more
