It's a beautifully laid out, delightful store and the heavily accented Central European welcome and farewell from the lady serving are mighty fine.
Maybe I'm getting old, but the prices of a lot of goods here were to me a rip off and I dislike being ripped off.
I picked up a small bar of souvenir chocolate, maybe 100gm, with English and Irish on it, but £3.99 is taking the p. I mean two bites and it's on the hips. A small 227gm jar of local honey at near €12, no thank you.
Maybe there's a good reason for daylight robbery like high rent and greedy politicians fixing places with high taxation, but instead of buying something (and I came close) I got gone. No thanks. I do wish them well and good success but not for me. read more
