I had a filling redone that was not urgent; the staff did not check to see if I had a waiting period before being able to get some services with my new insurance. I ended up having to pay out-of-pocket for the full expense. I've never had a dental office have this lack of regard before. Also, in hindsight, I don't think I needed my filling redone and wish I wouldn't have had the service in the first place. I think they push unnecessary services. I definitely felt like a wallet.

I am so glad I found West One Family Dental! The staff here is amazing! Tina, the pleasant lady at the front desk is very welcoming. The dental hygienists, assistants, and Dr. Wolf are such a caring bunch who make you feel comfortable and taken care of. The ambience of this dental office is well put together . One of the things I like most is the birdfeeders outside each dental chair window. It is very calming to watch the birds feed at the feeders. Dr. Wolf's chairside manor is one to be admired. He is very friendly, thorough and walk you through everything that he's going to do which at least puts my anxiety at ease. Their quality of care is exceptional, and I was impressed by the technology that they use. I now realize my dentist who had retired technology was out of date lol. They are very accommodating to your schedule and will work with you if you have a tight schedule. I am very fortunate to have found such a wonderful dentist office! Each time I was given the option to reschedule or be put on the call list. The next appointment is always three to six months out. So the call list option has been, they call hours of their next appointment. If you have even a part of a life, it's impossible to make that appointment. The only thing I can figure - based on their scheduling issues - is that their hygienists don't come to work very often. When I expressed some frustration to the office staff, I was spoke to very rudely. I would recommend everyone find somewhere else to go. This place doesn't have great care for their patients.

After completing paperwork, I sat in the waiting room until 8:35 before being called back. I was there for a toothache only. It took 5 min+ just to get my name in the computer for an X-ray. After the X-ray it took another 5 min+ to have a dentist look at it and tell me I needed to be referred to an oral surgeon ( thank goodness!!!!). Once I learned who they refer patients to, I asked to be referred to another surgeon I am familiar with. I called Downtown Dentist after my appoint was done, 1 hour for 1 X-ray, and provided them with the surgeon's information. After hearing nothing for 2 days, I called the oral surgery center. They had not received the referral!! The people at this dental office were nice but the place is a train wreck. If you want a place that cares about your care and time, this is not the place for you. I will not go back since they blew it from start to finish.

I questioned why I was being billed again for covered services, pointing to the patient record on their screen verifying the insurance coverage. The response was an argument. Then, as I prepared to leave, I was required to pay *in advance* for dental work which may or may not be done at my next visit. (!!) Other medical billers will make a phone to verify coverage. Not here. They bill you. This is unfortunate. The doctors at Premier Dental deserve more competent support. So do we, the patients.

The permanent crowns were made at a lab and when they came back neither were quite the right color to match other teeth nearby. Although I said they were acceptable, Dr. Seabaugh was not satisfied and proceeded to adjust the lab orders for a better pair. When the second pair came back from the lab, they matched colors extremely well. I have had other dental work done by Dr. Seabaugh. I have found her to be very skilled and caring!

It took 2.5 months to finally get to where my bite is finally okay. I went back 2 times because my bite was too high, and after that I asked to see a different dentist because it still felt off. After that it was determined that my bite had actually been adjusted too much! We had to redo 2 of the crowns and then I had to come back for another adjustment. When I switched to the 2nd dentist, she mentioned a cavity that the first dentist didn't even mention! It makes me feel like maytbe he was waiting for it to get bad enough to also warrant a crown? The staff was always very friendly and accommodating, but the experience definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. LOL I did appreciate them trying to fix the problem, and the friendly staff- that is the only reason they are getting 3 stars!!
