When we're spending many $thousands on anything, in this case our mouths, it would seem we deserve competent billing. Today, I was charged ($$$) for the second time, for my doctor's review and confirmation of his original diagnosis from the last visit, for which I was also charged ($$$). No work was done on my teeth then or today. I have two dental plans, both of which cover 100% of diagnostic examinations. I questioned why I was being billed again for covered services, pointing to the patient record on their screen verifying the insurance coverage. The response was an argument. Then, as I prepared to leave, I was required to pay *in advance* for dental work which may or may not be done at my next visit. (!!) Other medical billers will make a phone to verify coverage. Not here. They bill you. This is unfortunate. The doctors at Premier Dental deserve more competent support. So do we, the patients.

The staff are all generally kind and their doctors are knowledgeable. The quality of care seems pretty average and they are somewhat attentive... The struggles I have with them are: - Upselling. I have dental insurance, yet I am always out of pocket WAY more then I thought I would be going in. With little reason, I am just told 'this is what you need' without any WHY I need it. - I never get follow up calls or explanations from them - i.e. My EOB from my insurance states different billing codes and amounts then what I was charged and no one has followed up with me - it's been nearly three months. - The employees never seem to know answers to questions I ask - I.E. what type of work am I having done? How long is my appointment? When should my son be seen? etc etc. I am met with employees who don't know, have to 'get back to me' and just are not trained well AT ALL. My story lies here: During my pregnancy, I was told everything was great. After having my son, I am immediately met with "you should have been seen every 3 months" and was told it was MY FAULT. I got back into cleanings and a plan and even had a bridge completed (something I have been waiting 20 years to do.) Bridge was done with complications which I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK and when I called they said it was because the doctor was on vacation - they blamed my doctor! Talk about unsupportive staff. Now I am being told I need ANOTHER deep cleaning WITH genetic testing and it's more money. Red flags you guys! Do better. I have yet to get a call back to really explain to me WHY I've paid what I've paid and WHY I need more work done. I don't know if I'll go back to be honest.

So bad I haven't been able to chew with my left side since Nov 2019. They did the cold test, referred me for root canal, then I came back for the few visits to get a crown on. The pain is completely gone and for the first time tonight in three years I was able to chew with both sides of my mouth and no pain. Thank you for fixing me!!

My last experience was so traumatizing that I just gave up. Everyone was so soft and welcoming. Even after having an anxiety attack a few minutes in, everyone just stepped back and reassured me. They went at my pace and not once did they make me feel ashamed. Slowly and steadily they got things done and I walked out with a spring in my step knowing I was in good hands. Everyone was so kind and helped to put me at ease. I like to ask many questions about my care and how to take care of my teeth. My hygenist, Jenna, was amazing with answering my questions and helping me to feel comfortable. I appreciate the thoroughness from the x-rays and photos taken of my teeth. Jenna also gave me great advice to help me better care for my gums. Alexis helped to further ease any other concerns by explaining the consultation visit with the dentist.
