Bottom line: Mario's Pizza turned out some good pizza slices to take home and enjoy. Only cheese and pepperoni slices were available with no other toppings for take out slices that night and a longer than expected wait during a holiday week paid off though in the end, enjoyable thin slice NY style pizza. The Deets: Over the holiday season, of course there was that one night that the mood for cooking had long since passed and we wanted something simple and low key...pizza, right? Word was from my family that Mario's Pizza was the local business to hit for some good pizza so we committed to going here. Deciding on cheese pizza slices and a slice of pepperoni to pick up (as they were not doing any other slice types for the evening we were told, maybe volume or staffing?), we phoned in our order and drove off in the soaking rain to pick it up. We had one person that wanted "everything" on one of the slices so there was a bit of compromise. My guess about order volume may be true as when I arrived and paid for the order, I was then informed that it would be at least another 15 minutes. I was not alone in waiting for orders as the time went on, more came in and waited on orders, so these guys were busy and popular but not too many people were actually sitting in the restaurant eating (they have a good sized seating area)...the take out volume of business was probably a good sign about how good they are, hopefully. That hope paid off...their New York style pizza was pretty tasty. Their pizza had thin crust which I like, as well as fairly good slice size. I'd say for a pretty solid pizza choice in the Clemmons/Lewisville area, I would definitely visit Mario's Pizza again in the future. I normally would say more 3-3.5 stars for the lack of toppings available on slices and the pretty long wait even after a good drive over but I have to give them the benefit of the doubt since it was a holiday week and say go with 4 stars as they got the job done, the pizza was good, and the staff was nice when waiting/picking up the meal.

Picked up food from here to go for a last minute dinner idea and it was pretty good. They had a special on a Buffalo chicken pizza so I had to try that. It was good but not what I expected. There were onions on it which I've only ever seen on BBQ chicken pizza, good but didn't taste like the usual Buffalo chicken pizza because of that. I really liked the garlic knots, tons of garlic and oil flavor without being too much. The side of sauce was really good! We had the Italian sub too which was okay, I wasn't expecting it to be hot so that was surprising and there was a little too much ham on it for me. We also got a side of meatballs for our daughter and I didn't try them but she ate them right up! Overall pretty good food though and I'll be back to try more of their specialty pizzas and get more knots!

The pizza slices are bigger than the size of your head. And so friggin yummy!!!

Ordered takeout from here. It was delicious! The garlic knots were the only things that I would never order for takeout again. They could've been really delicious, but the texture was like they had been microwaved. Cannoli (Italian Pastry): absolutely, phenomenal! Garlic Knots: did not have a great experience. The texture was almost like they had been microwaved Jalapeño Poppers: these were sooooooo good! Tons of cheese in the middle, and they remove the seeds, so not too spicy. Yummmm! Onion Rings (Beer-Battered): love the texture of beer battered onion rings, and these did not disappoint! Meatball Sub: it was OK. I feel like it was missing salt or something. Just wasn't anything really special. Sorry guys, but I think I prefer going to Subway for a meatball sub. Pepperoni Slice: pizza slices are huuuuuuge! I was like, " that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!!!" The pizza was great! Sausage, Mushrooms, Onions Pizza By The Slice: love their pizza!!! I will definitely be back!

The standard cheese pie. Good sauce, good cheese, nice crispy crust..

Mario's is a solid NY 'style' pizza place and they also have good subs (Eggplant Parm is my go-to) and good fresh & big salads. They have daily specials as well so a lunch won't completely crush your wallet. This visit I got a large cheese, a Caesar salad and a sub.

$3.35 per each extra topping

I am not one to complain BUT I was charged $3.35 for each topping. The lack of mushrooms was ridiculous! I have to go out of my way to Marios but no more!

Service today was good sometimes I go and there's no one there to take your order. Got lucky today. I had the pick two, French onion soup and half Mediterranean veggie sandwich. The soup had good flavor but no cheese or bread or any kind on top. The sandwich was fresh and full of veggies. I wouldn't get the soup again. My friends had the chicken back sandwich which also came full of chicken and was tasty she said. Other one had broccoli cheddar soup and caperese sandwich. Both she enjoyed. We also tried the cinnamon roll. The filling is good but the actual roll was kinda dry. Like I said food was fine . Didn't take too long to get. I do feel this location needs some TLC . A lot of things look old and need updating. Came in handy today when we needed a good lunch spot!

When I addressed the issue with the staff, their service was very rude and unhelpful. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and really detracted from my meal. I hope Panera Bread takes this feedback seriously and improves both their order accuracy and customer service. It's important for customers to feel valued and respected, especially when mistakes happen. I won't be returning until I see these changes.

The tenders had a really solid crunch without being greasy, and the hot honey added the perfect sweet heat balance. The Meal 3 with 2 sliders and 2 tenders was probably the standout though. The Patty Melt Crunch slider and Sammy's Melt Burger both had that smashed burger flavor with crispy edges that hit perfectly. The "saucy" hot honey combo worked way better than expected, especially with the hand-cut fries and homemade ranch on the side. Even the fries stayed crispy the whole meal, which says a lot. Portion sizes were solid for the price, the food came out quick, and the whole meal had that fresh-made comfort food vibe instead of tasting overly fast-food style. Washed it all down with a Coke and honestly left full and satisfied. If you're in Winston-Salem and craving sliders, tenders, or late comfort food, Sammy's Sliders is definitely worth trying. The hot honey flavors and smash-style burgers are the move.

(4.25) O'Brien's is the kind of classic deli every city…read moreshould have. It's a small space - a few tables inside and a few tables out - but don't let that or the line you are likely to encounter deter you. They crank out sandwiches quickly here. Said sandwiches include about two dozen hot and cold offerings as well as the ability to build your own. The meats are Boar's Head, but the desserts and soups are made fresh in-house. Check out the display case for salads and sides that might catch your eye. O'Brien's prides itself on its Reuben, and so I went with the "mini" version (a quarter rather than a half pound of meat) with a pickle for my first visit here. Ordering at the register was a breeze, and I was fortunate enough to snag one of the tables for dine-in. Though I was a bit skeptical that the Reuben would match the hype, it delivered. I don't know that it is without a doubt the best version I've had, but it is definitely up there. The grilled rye was nice and crisp, and I appreciated that they used both mustard and Russian dressing. That, plus the meat, kraut, and melty cheese, made for a very satisfying bite. At $10, the sandwich proved a good value, too. Unpretentious and nostalgically comforting (for Northern transplants, at least), O'Brien's is a well-oiled sandwich-slinging machine. Though that Reuben will be hard to top, I look forward to giving one of their other offerings (maybe a Cuban, maybe a Spicy Italian) a try.
