Tired, dated, a little dirty inside. Sells all the typical Myrtle Beach stuff: fireworks, sand…read moredollars, wind chimes, salt water taffy, t shirts, towels. Since it is an hour out of Myrtle Beach and on the side of the road that is easily accessible if you are heading westbound, I think this is kind of an "oh crap, I forgot to get a souvenir for grandma" type of stop. And this is the last place to do that if you are headed home from the beach. The food looked a little greasy. The poor hermit crabs looked pitiful trapped in the cage all crawling on top of each other. Everything here needs a good refresh. Maybe they could take all the money they spend on billboards and invest that into some improvements here.

**Sparky's in Marion, SC - A Charming Tourist Stop**…read more Sparky's is a cute and convenient stop if you're passing through Marion, SC. It's perfect for stretching your legs, browsing unique items, and making use of the clean restrooms. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the charm of the visit. However, the prices left something to be desired, especially in the candy section. A box of chewy Sweet Tarts was $3.95--quite a jump compared to $1.25 at Dollar Tree. Because of the steep candy prices, I opted to try some local preserves instead. All in all, Sparky's is a nice rest stop for tourists, but be mindful of the prices if you're planning to shop. Great for a quick break, clean facilities, and a touch of local flair! Would I stop again? Probably, but mostly for the ambiance and the friendly vibes, not necessarily the shopping.

Believe it or not, there was a time that Walmart wouldn't sell anything that was made in the United States unless the only option for a particular product was an imported product. Oh, the good ol' days of Sam Walton. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case and many products are only made overseas. With that being said, there are some items I'll get here including bottled, canned, and boxed foodstuffs such as soda, flour, beans but I tend to stay away from their produce and meats with a few exceptions. There are a few general merchandise items that you can find on sale but again the quality of many items are quite cheap. As for this store, the people who work here are all generally nice and it's actually the only Walmart I've ever been to where an associate asked me if I needed help finding something. This Walmart, in my opinion, is better than your average W

If you're in the area and in need of something for a spell or two, this place is a godsend, for sure, given how limited the options are. However, in comparison to other spiritual shops that I've visited across the country, there are a few things that I didn't particularly care for when visiting Labyrinth Walking. The first was that you are required to check your bag/purse when you arrive in the store. I get it. I really do. Shoplifting is a thing, and if you own a shop, you want to do everything you can to counter this. Still, this isn't a practice that I've seen done anywhere else, and it was a tad off-putting and made me a little uncomfortable to have my purse, wallet, etc. all taken from me during my visit. Even after all of this, I felt as if some of the staff were implementing "anti-theft" approaches to customer service during my visit. There were quite a few staff on-hand that day, so maybe they were just board and genuinely trying to be helpful, but I felt like I was almost being followed and monitored with how frequently they "checked in". In such a small shop, it honestly made the simple art of browsing and feeling the energy of certain pieces really challenging to do. I also found the prices to be a bit high compared to other stores. The location also makes parking a little bit tricky at times. While there are definitely pros to this space, it's not one that I'll go out of my way to revisit any time soon. Something about the overall energy is just...off.
