As a salty licorice afficionado (which my phone just autocorrected as 'addict', still accurate), I found this place to be a wonderland with a great selection of licorice from all over the world. Name it, they have it; chocolate-covered licorice, salty licorice-flavored potato chips, several kinds of loose-leaf licorice tea, licorice powders, and even a package of the world's most expensive licorice in a glass case. That one is of the sweet variety though, so it was not terribly interesting to me. I should have known since it is in a tourist area but the quality of the food was poor. Also the burrata was not of the best quality (2 out of 10 on a ten point scale) and the salad was overpowered by an excessive amount of low quality balsamic. On another note we were seated in the inner restaurant area and the ambient music was TOO LOUD. We had to raise our voices to hear and be heard which is of course unacceptable. Had we not been famished with few options we would have left the premises immediately. Service was good and we were greeted immediately upon entering from the rainy afternoon. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. When my chick arrived undercooked (pink) it was prompt remedied, and they offered us a beverage on the house. This and the good service are is why there is a 3 star review instead of a lower evaluation All in all I would not return for food, but *perhaps* for cocktails if prices were adjusted to a reasonable rate.
