We were hoping to transition to a great healthcare team since our daughters have very sensitive lungs, which sometimes requires us to go to the ER. I called late one night because my daughter seemed to be having respiratory distress and Dr. Goldberg advised us to go to the ER after I explained the symptoms. It was the right call and my daughter got the care she needed that night. Dr. Goldberg is a kind and attentive doctor, who remembers small details from past conversations and she never seems rushed! She's adjusted some medicines to better suit our daughters for the winter season as well. The staff on the phone and front desk is always friendly. They greet our daughters and give them stickers. The office is clean and well-maintained, and the parking is always plentiful. My husband was initially confused why I drove a little farther out to go to Pittsford for this doctor. I explained that I saw good reviews and that I had a great first experience with Dr. Goldberg. He said it still might be a better idea to go somewhere closer but I was already invested. Today my husband joined along and I asked him what his impression was, and he said, "The doctor seemed really nice and professional, and it's really clean and nice inside, I can see why you like it." My husband will be doing his PhD for the next 5 years in Rochester so we plan to be with Dr. Goldberg for these upcoming years! My daughters are healthy during spring, summer and fall but flu season is rough so it's important to me we go somewhere we feel welcomed and taken care of!

He's had a consistently rude, disrespectful bedside manner since day one. I have asked to change care to another DR but was denied. Bloom had scolded me after I utilize urgent care instead of calling him 1st. He has a terrible habit of ignoring me at appointments - he doesn't make eye contact or even greet me with an acknowledgment. He talks down to me if I try to ask a question or be involved in the appointment interaction. He talks over me. He lectures me off topic when he does finally address me. Yet he treates my son like he's the authority figure in the room - smh. What a terrible role model for my son on how to treat women!

After doing some research, we chose Dr. T for our son's pediatrician. After he was born we called and got his first appointment scheduled. We met with nurses, Dr. T, and lactation specialist. It was an incredible experience to meet everyone and get so much insight. Dr. T loves to hear all the questions and always has an answer for us. My son really likes him too, now that he is older to make those choices. We have had to use the portal several times to chat with the staff and there has never been an ignored message or misinterpreted thought. Even when we have emergencies, they are always responsive and fit us in as soon as they can. It is just a great pediatrician to have for any family. They have lifelong patients in our family.

Then the interviews come for pediatricians for the coming tiny humans! Take this seriously. We interviewed and fell in love with Dr Casey! She believes in vaccines and keeping everyone healthy and safe. She is caring and helpful and felt very much like a trusted family member while our children grew up. The kids love her and relate well to her maybe because she is pint sized herself so she isn't this imposing scary Dr walking into the room! I say this with absolute love and respect! From the front desk, Jennifer, got to know our whole family so when we called she knew our child and was comforting and helpful! The RN's, NP's and PA's are all fan-tabulous!!!! She is friendly and upbeat, and will help you come up with solutions in the face of complex or confusing issues. Heads up to other parents- this practice actually runs on time! This is completely shocking to me because every other practice we have ever been at (including the great ones) run 15 min to HOURS late. I love that they run their practice like clockwork because it helps parents with busy schedules. But I mention that so you can plan appropriately - do try to be on time, and the associated benefit is that you don't have to book a 4 hour time block for every doctors visit.

Below are the main reasons why I like IP. - They have late hours (Monday - Thursday until 7pm) and are open Saturday mornings, which is great for those who work typical business hours. - There's walk-in hours twice a day. - They have a lactation consultant, Dianne, who is very supportive. She even offered her personal cell number to me. - Dr. Savage is warm, gentle, and attentive to my newborn. She also answers all of my questions. - The waiting room has a section for the sick kids and another for the kids who are there for well visits. (Important to me because I don't want my healthy newborn around the sick kids!) - The patient room we were in was equipped for a nursing mom - boppy, disposable slipcovers, breastfriend (another type of nursing pillow), and a comfy rocking chair with foot rest. Nice touch! Also, there was a cute sign to put on the door to let others know to knock first before entering when nursing. - The patient room also has diapers and wipes. - Also, there's a chalkboard for mini people to use to keep them entertained in the patient room. - Decor is kid friendly and lucky for me, since I'm a Finding Nemo fan, aquarium-themed. - Office is bigger and freshly remodeled. - Lastly, as a new patient, we received an infant binder with a growth tracker chart, family history form, office information, and other additional information. At each visit, we received an information packet that describes diet, hygiene, safety, behavior and development, and any other relevant information about our baby at the age she is at the time of the appointment (i.e. 2 weeks, 2 months, 4 months, etc.). Also, the nurse writes down my daughter's height, weight, and head circumference on the packet for our records. This is my first child and first experience with pediatrics and I am impressed and grateful for the attention and care given to my daughter.

She makes the front desk staff hound you in even makes the doctor's hound you when you're in the visit with a sick child. They talk to you very rude in front of other patients and staff making it very uncomfortable. I did like the doctors and the nurses but the overall professionalism of the office manager is definitely not what I'm looking for when it comes to caring for my son.
