On top of that, they ordered a mammogram each time I visited (again, I have had a mastectomy). The doctor told me that Women stop using estrogen patches at my age and took me off this medication. I just went back to my old GYN's office and was informed that this was not accurate and increased my chances of Osteoporosis. The doctor from this practice told me that Estrogen patches can lead to cancer. My new doctor explained that Estrogen patches can lead to breast cancer, which is not a risk for someone with no breasts. I was off the patches for 4 years and just placed back on them by my new doctor. I just had my first bone marrow scan and have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis.

I had my son with the practice in 2022 and now we're back again with baby number two. Both times they've listened to all of my concerns and addressed them right away. I don't trust many people, but I would trust Dr. Alarcon and Dr. Tagechian with my life and the life of my babies over and over again. I've seen some bad reviews about wait times, but to put in perspective, I'd rather wait 30 extra minutes to ensure that my doctors are giving me all the time I need in the room than for them to be on time 24/7 and running out of the room at the 15 minute mark. Good care takes time and they're worth waiting for.

Saw Dr Tag here for the first time back in 2021 while I was still in college. Complaints of severe…read moreperiod pain, irregular cycles, urinary frequency, fatigue and bloat. She did a basic work up (bloodwork/US) and told me I had PCOS, although I showed no physical characteristics of PCOS (now PCOM), lab work was normal. She diagnosed me based off of my ultrasound (told me I had the ring of pearls- looking back I definitely didn't, they were just normal follicles...) and due to my cycle irregularity I for sure had it. Of course she heavily pushed birth control as most GYNs do which I declined bc it makes me feel terrible. Just for background, I've always been on the slimmer side with a low bmi but hypothalamic dysfunction wasn't mentioned. I asked her if there was any chance I had endometriosis. Nope it's definitely PCOS/brushes me off. I remember pushing her on the urinary symptoms- told me to not drink caffeine but I may have interstitial cystitis and I could get a referral to her sister who is a urologist if I wanted. I was 20 at the time & in nursing school so I just went with what she told me & didn't look further into anything. A year or two later I saw a male physician there for a pap, I think his first name was Carlos. He was nice/fine. He told me he did not think I had PCOS, if I did, maybe a "touch of it". I basically let it go at this point and just figured my symptoms were normal for me. Fast forward to 2025, now working in a fertility clinic. My husband and I had been TTC for a few months with no luck so I did diagnostic testing. Ultrasound showed bilateral endometriomas. They weren't present on my scans in 2021 so I can't fault Dr Tag for not seeing them, but she completely ignored my concerned for endo when I asked several years earlier & had several symptoms. I had endo excision earlier this year (2026). Stage 4 endo was found. I obviously do not see her anymore, but really hope she takes her patients concerns more seriously now. Endo is difficult to diagnose in general but should be on the table of discussion for all OBGYNs. She made me feel silly for thinking I had endo when it turns out I was right. & no, I do NOT have PCOS. I wasn't able to advocate for myself at the time due to lack of knowledge & find it frustrating the MD I saw also did not advocate for me then either. Here's to hoping endo is taken more seriously by GYNs in the coming years.

The sign on the outside of the building is on Tower St??????? No parking in the blue parking deck. And you get to pay for this. The address says #300. The lady at the front desk says you are in the correct place and to go to the second floor. Suite 220. I do. It says check in, I do. The lady behind the counter tells me and the other person in front of me the same thing: it's the 3rd floor. Suite #300. I still manage to arrive at 8:55. When I check in, the girl says I need to check that they may not be able to see. you. Wait, I said the appointment time is 8:45 -9:00. She says yes, but they need 30 min before with you, a face-to-face. No one told me this. I will need to reschedule. I will now have to wait months. OMG. Needless to say, I was pissed. I started to rethink my appointment; they don't have signage to get you there. The portal link has the wrong code on it for their office. And says nothing about the need to know stuff like how to get to their office. Proper suite numbers. Holy cow. If you are going to their location, I'll tell you. Go to the blue tower parking. Park. Go in and take the elevator to the main floor. Take note of the sign behind the lady at the desk, 699 address on the inside. Go past her all the way around to the next set of elevators. If I could give 0 stars I would, after the customer service I have received over the past 2 weeks…read more I was told at my annual appt in April to TRY switching to a progesterone only birth control, but if it didn't work for me then I could switch right back. I have been taking the Tri spirintec for many many years without any issues. I have issues with the new one, but when I called to have it switched back, I was told that the Dr went on vacation for a week and another Dr wouldn't help me unless I came for an extra office visit (additional cost plus time off work). I JUST had my annual. When the Dr came back from vacation, they still wouldn't help me and required a letter from my cardiologist. This is not a new medication to me, I have never needed a letter before, and the Dr stated in my exam notes from a couple months ago: She has been taking Tri-Sprintec for several years with cardiac hx and no issues! I sent a letter from my cardiologist on Monday as requested, but even after all this, they sent the wrong medication today. If I can ever get the correct medication, now my insurance won't cover it since my husband picked it up for me and didn't know it was the wrong one again. I am a very long time patient here and am really feeling that you no longer care about your clients. I stayed after my Dr retired but now I regret it, as well as recommending you.
