But the other half of the store that had all the carpets was in much better condition. There were a number of different carpets in terms of designs and colours. I have to say the carpets on sale here are for sure affordable and not too expensive. The staff are OK but I still think Britannia Carpets could do with being refurbished. The second team returned shortly to complete the job to our satisfaction. In their absence I rang to complain about the situation. The girl on the end of the line simply failed to understand my frustration. She stated that carpet fitters are independent [ but in fact the warehouse called both teams back]. The brilliant thing about this shop is the owner who also deals with most of the customer orders. He really knows his stuff and can give you invaluable advice. We were ordering a few items at once but he easily switched his knowledge from ovens, to fridges, to sinks with ease. They arranged delivery and fitting of all the items with care and ease.
