We chanced upon a charming mall close to the city center. We all decided to get Lebanese food for dinner at El Emir at the food court which was decent for a food court. $47 for 3 people is a fair price for such a touristy city. I'd rate them no more than 3 stars since the food was just okay. I've definitely had better. My stepson and I both had chicken shawarma (he had the sandwich and I had the plate) and my husband had a grilled chicken on skewers plate. We all thought the seasoning could have been better. The guy at the counter was not the friendliest either. It actually felt rushed. This was in a food court area but the setup is much different than most food courts I've been to. This discourages cross ordering which is actually what I appreciate about food courts.

Sad to say I had high expectations for this place and it just did not deliver. It was not super…read morehard to find, inside Pallidium on the top floor in the corner. Servers appear to be Lebonese but they also speaK czech and some english. The food was probably the most disappointing part. Falafel did not taste like normal falafel, it was a bit too vegetarian to taste. It came with 4 pieces, thats it! and for 140 crowns, so overpriced and not good enough for that price. If the falafel was amazing I would be willing to pay this price, but this situation was a huge no. We also ordered the hummus, which was bland, and rather small for a whopping 140 crowns for basically a very small cereal bowl size dish. Both of these dishes together would not be enough food for a normal person to eat for a meal, let alone the two of us. We ended up ordering some of their bread to also eat to fill up, which came out in three small pieces and were not homemade. They were basically out of a bag or something and were from white flour that tasted horrible. Don't get me wrong I love bread, but I even put this one back. To top off my experience they also charge 55 crowns for about 5 ounces of juice! Gotta say, for the type of place it was, with such a nice interior and fancy waiters in nice clothes, as well as good reviews I really was expecting better food and better service. Won't be coming back here.

It´s opened till midnight and sometimes even longer. Local pizza and kebab are actually pretty good. Another advantage of this place is that they do delivery. You can also order non-alcoholic drinks. They have other meals too, but pizza and kebab are my favourite items and sometimes saviours :-) And they also sell pieces, one for 35 CZK and it´s big enough to be happy again :-) So enjoy

The next greatest part is they are open late, sometimes even when I get home from the bars. Also I love their gyros! They use a really thick pita and pile it high with their delicious chicken kebab and loads of fresh veggies for only 75 czk. Its more like a Mediterranean Burger than the gyros I'm accustomed to, which is not a bad thing by any means. Like all gyros I've had in Prague though, they use chicken instead of Lamb. They also have pizza ready all the time so you can get it by the slice for cheap too and its quite good too, up to the same standard of the million other pizza places around town. The service is great. Definitely above average. They are quick, really friendly, and speak great English for all of us Americans living in Zizkov!
