After reading the posts on Yelp, I thought I would give M. Bätjer a call to get a bid on repair…read morework in our bath. From the moment of our interactions on the phone, the owner of this business seemed to be difficult and did not want to waste his time to come by and take a look at the work needed. He lumped me in with unserious customers always wasting his time as the end up going to the Baumarket anyway. Even after agreeing to his price for the repairs, he put pressure on us to give him 50% downpayment on the work otherwise the agreed upon appointment would go to another "serious"customer. Even after transferring €1100,00 to his account, he called and postponed the start date two weeks saying our payment was received late. Seeing that this business owner does not have one iota of a customer service mentality and the way he pressured us for payment even to get a start date for the work, we withdrew the contract as we new if any problems arose with the quality of the work in the future with him, we would have only more headaches dealing with this guy. Better go to another company that places greater emphasis on the customer and delivers this in his work and speech!
