An unethical act indeed. and then the worst - after we learned the home we bought was full of hidden defects - she refused to give us seller's contact details. Her office instructed me to hire someone to find seller and refused to help us. Her office was communicating with seller via email prior to sale. Furthermore, they mailed the deed somewhere? We are pursuing legal action against Notary Trott and eventually the seller. Very expensive price tag, for awful service, we are not clients; we are victims.

They are not qualified to help a US resident process/prepare the paperwork and are very untrained in such transaction in my opinion. They are also not prepared to assist in getting the paperwork done. Then when my wife called them back to answer their question, one of them told her that she was being interrupted by her phone calls! So they get a 0 for common courtesy and rudeness. It seems they think they do the buyers and sellers a favor ... not providing a service. Wonder who is paying them?
