A great haircut from a great classic barbershop!! Wish they had one in Windsor. I'd go back anytime I'm in London.

Love the vibes of this place. You know the fellas there actually love what they do and are good at it. Expect to wait but at least you're waiting in some fine leather and soccer on the tv. They are quick and detailed and charge very very reasonably for the experience and the location. If you're looking to try new, check em out read more

Very cool place. Hipster young guys giving good haircuts. The gentleman from iraq helped me and he kept me good company with jokes, politics, and talk of women. Old school and new school combined. Exactly what a barber shop should be. London seems like a cool town. Only here for half a day and I wish I could stay longer. I hope that I can find other places like marcelos. read more

After a recent job relocation from Toronto to London, I was in need a good, genuine, reliable barber. Marcello's downtown location and rave reviews were a good indication that this was the spot. I took a stroll over after work one day and thought I'd give them a try. I'm glad I did. The shop has a very classic, vintage, barbershop feel. The barber's tables/desks are probably older than I am, but have been refinished to give them an updated touch. Waiting isn't a hassle at all - they offer comfortable leather lounge chairs to relax and enjoy some Netflix, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. I've had the chance to sit with a most of their dedicated barbers, and I consistently receive an extremely solid haircut. That's the primary selling point for me: consistency. I don't have to request a particular barber because I know I'm getting the same value and attention with each one. Kudos to them all! I've always walked out of their shop feeling like I received the best service for the price in London. read more

Shave and a haircut... Well you don't see that too often anymore. This is the place. Great service and fabulous haircuts. This place is awesome! read more

I think my first visit here was only about a year ago on a whim. They are only a couple of blocks from my house and I thought I'd give it a shot. Well, I haven't been anywhere since and never plan to try another place. My sons now also go there exclusively. Honestly, it's great! On the down side, yes - the place is VERY busy, be prepared to wait. However, there is ample comfortable leather chairs provided and something interesting on the TVs - which in my opinion pales to the ongoing and interesting constant conversation. As well, yes - they only take cash but the prices are reasonable and offer good value considering the time, energy and care they take with each and every customer. I think it's awesome - centrally located and decorated with Italian soccer team photos and Scarface posters and the like. Spartan yet clean and kind of a rustic feel. But the best part for me is the people - both the guys cutting hair and the other customers. The vibe is fun and old-school and the time flies. I hate to recommend the place as that makes my wait longer - but they deserve it. read more

Excellent haircut. Always takes a long time to get a chair. Very slow cutting hair, too much chatter with other customers while cutting resulting in a lot of chair-time. Twice received a parking ticket due to wait/cut time. Great guys but very slow. read more

Great guys, and great cuts. But the lack of sweeping the floor between cuts is unsanitary and disgusting. It only takes a min to do a quick sweep. Marcello as the owner you should not accept this as the standard, however, you were part of the problem. Take a min sweep the floor. read more

These guys know how to cut hair and give a good experience. Doesn't cost much more than the brand name places and worth every penny. Cash only. Cut and beard trim is $32. read more

See Scott for solid lines every time! Great location, beautiful scenery, very reasonable rates. Best barber shop around.

Both Scott and Marcello are great Barbers! Both have cut my hair and they both did great jobs. I seem to have a hard time finding a good barber, but these guys are legit. They're fast, reasonably priced, and know what they're doing. Love the touch of the old fashioned straight razor on the sideburns and neck. They leave solid lines, everytime read more

Great experience, lines are usually long but haircuts that are definitely worth the wait.

This place can seem intimidating at first, but that does not degrade the quality of service. Make sure you go in with an idea of what style you're looking for read more

Just moved to London and thought I'd give them a try, couldn't have been happier with the result. Reasonably priced. Great atmosphere. One other thing, they are cash only. read more

I've been going to these guys for about a year now. Top notch; excellent barbers with great senses of humour. It feels like you're hanging out with your buddies and you come out with a perfect haircut. You might wait a bit to get into a chair so give yourself some time. If you're in a hurry, there are faster places to get a haircut but you'll have to wear it for 2 or 3 weeks so it's worth watching some soccer and getting caught up on your email. If they're busy, and you can't wait for your regular, you can take the next free chair and you won't get dirty looks like you get from your wife when you dance with somebody else. All of the guys are equally talented. Definitely 5 stars - if they are not the best in London, somebody else must be really good. read more

Marcello's cuts are spot-on. His new shop is very nice (he used to work in another shop out in the west end). The barber chairs are 100 years old and are really something else. They even have the old leather straps hanging off of them (for clearing burrs off of straight razors I believe). He tracked them down online and had them restored before opening up his new shop downtown. The hot shaving cream and straight-razor clean up of the neck, around the ears etc. is also a nice touch. read more

Fast, expertly done, excellent atmosphere, great price. I'm a super cheap tipper - except when I go to Marcello's.
