I'm used to the American dentist experience where you wait in a waiting room for a long time reading six-month-old Redbook magazines, then you wait in the dentist chair for a long time, then the hygienist does some stuff to you, then you wait some more, and then finally, the dentist comes in for a couple of minutes. My experience at Scandinavian was so much better than anything I experienced back home!
I showed up about 5 minutes before my appointment. I know they were fully booked for the day, because I had asked about the possibility of moving my appointment and wasn't able to. Yet there was nobody else in the waiting room, meaning they were very efficient. I had already filled out their short patient form online, so they showed me in right away.
Dr. Pedersen was in the room preparing even before I even got into the chair! He did the whole cleaning and examination himself with assistance from the hygienist. I was in AND out within 30 minutes, and my teeth looked great.
Dr. Pedersen, the receptionist, and the hygienist were all very nice and professional. The cleaning cost 85 EUR, which seemed reasonable to me, though I didn't comparison shop. I didn't have any procedures done other than the cleaning, so I can't comment on that. However, I will definitely be back, and I can't recommend them highly enough based on my experience!
