I was in Germany for four months with a 90 day supply of my meds and due to miscommunication with my insurance company, didn't realize that I would not be able to get a refill of my meds for the last month of my visit. Dr. Ascherl was the physician I saw and I couldn't have asked for a more thorough check up...he was able to give me a prescription for my meds and with the help of the office staff, they found a pharmacy to fill it. And the best part of the whole experience is that without insurance, my visit did not cost me my first born child...no joke, it was under $100 dollars! My kids will be in Germany for awhile yet and I plan on another visit and will come back to this clinic if the need arises. Thank you American Medical Center, for being there when I needed you

I have nothing negative about the facility until it came to billing. I always feel over-charged…read moreafter a appt at AMC, whether me or my family, from multiple locations and no one can ever give an explanation or itemized statement for billing. €22 for taking blood, got it. €239 well visit, seemed reasonable for labs, visit, speaking to Dr. That was until I received another bill from lab for €75 for all analysis in itemized statement. So now explain to me what I paid in the €239 if you did none of the lab and analysis work? Response was it just what we charge for wellness visit. That is not an answer and I dont like feeling taken advantage of. I don't think I will return to AMC without a proper explanation of billing prior to any future appointments. I highly recommend you ask questions about billing and costs before you accept any recommendations from them. That includes who else outside the clinic will charge you for procedures involved.
