Due to…read moreroad construction in Shelbyville I was forced to hop on the freeway with a gas gauge that was pleading for some fumes. The first stop I made in Frankfort was at this Shell Station. The price was comparable to other gas stations. Shell accepts my Kroger gas points for an additional ten cents off per gallon which was easy to process at the pump. The only draw back was that half of the pumps were covered with plastic bags on the pump handles which meant you had less choice on which pump to use. The other draw back was that what I assume are regulars at this station just stop and park in traffic lanes to go into the interior store. That kind of made for wiggling to maneuver when I was ready to leave the self service pumps. The experience was ok but I certainly would look for other options if this was my regular area to get gas.

So, here's my experience with these folks: These guys are THE best thing since sliced bread! I took my Jeep Wrangler to another shop in town to have a sensor that was giving me a brake warning light replaced. Next thing, they told me they'd have to replace the wheel assembly. Next thing, they told me they had broken off a bolt in the axle & I needed a new axle. Next thing, they told me it was not drivable. Then the price doubled because they had priced the axle wrong. Next thing, I got cranky & pissed them off. Suddenly, it was drivable and I should come pick it up. Oh, and by the way, it would be $100 for their trouble. I pissed them off some more & they told me to come get it & never darken their door again. I said no problem there! Just by dumb luck & some fairy godmother looking out for me, I picked these guys off of Yelp. Called, told them my story. They said you bet, bring 'er in! They looked it over, sent me photos of what they found, along with calls and descriptions and answers to my questions. Turns out, no broken bolt. No need for an axle. They communicated with me about every step. Sent pictures. Were pleasant, straightforward and gave alternatives when appropriate. They gave me rides to/from home and I didn't even have to ask! They offered! Amazing!!! They pulled the fat out of the fire for me and I am soooo incredibly, over the top, off the charts THRILLED to have blindly stumbled into a nest of bright, honest, honorable people who actually seem to give a damn about their customers & the reputation of their business! Can't thank them enough! As long as they are open, they have my business & my praise for everything they have done!

For $40 they mount and balanced it. We was there maybe 30minutes. From now on, they will be our auto repair place.

We googled closest tire repair shops and thankfully found this one. The guys there checked the pressure in all four tires and found a piece of plastic that was piercing one of them. They patched the tire at a very reasonable price and we were back on the road in no time. They were super nice and friendly and put our minds at ease that we could continue our trip and then head back home to Illinois - which we did - without further problems. They could have easily taken advantage of two women who aren't very knowledgeable about cars and screwed us around for hours or they could have charged a very high fee for their services. They did neither and we are grateful. While we waited for the repair we had a great conversation with the woman in the office who shared stories and pictures of the recent flood in KY. Truly wonderful, down to earth people at this place. I highly recommend this business.

From making sure that my children and I were safe and away from the road, to making sure that we made it back to Frankfort safely. This station has become very hard to get to because of major construction on Interstate I64 and the road work on the overpass. There is also ongoing construction on Mt Eden Road that makes both entrance and exit from this station difficult. The only thing that is under control of Circle K is the cleanliness the station. I'm not sure if this has suffered because the number of employees has been decreased due to slow business or if it is not a priority but it still counts in my book. I have found other stations that are more convenient, lower priced, easier to get in and out of to give my business to. This review only warns that if you get off the Interstate to use this station you may be disappointed.

All the while not knowing what brand gas the station would become. Now that it is complete and open I can say I'm happy that it is a Marathon station. It has easy access off Freedom's Way. The station is set up with numerous pumps and a spacious parking lot. The price of gas is among the lowest in Shelby County. After filling up it is easy to exit from the station onto Midland Industrial and get right back on Freedom's Way at the signal light intersection. This will become my gas station of choice. A definite five star experience in gasing up today.

The coffee area was pretty clean although it needed some condiments i.e. sugar substitute and the stir sticks were running low as well as some of the coffee cups. As for the store itself it was well lit& clean. The girl at the register was friendly enough . You can either enter&exit back on to Georgetown Street or Nandino Blvd which is actually easier to do sometimes .

This review is for the employees…read more It's a gas station. It's typical. Gas. Snacks. Convenient store food. This particular gas station is right off the Bluegrass Parkway in Lawrenceburg so it tends to stay busy. There are a few other gas stations around there but the employees at this one are always friendly. I notice it and if I'm anywhere near needing gas, I stop in there each time I'm passing through.
