History

Established in 2013.

We got lots of friends specially international exchange student that year by year love to come to my hometown and specially to our beautful beaches but don't got the necessary equipment to stay on the campground cheap place around, I start by lending one of my old trashy tent to a college mate and other friend end up on this ingenious idea to start installing and supplying comfort to outdoor enthusiast, backpackers, world's travelers and other people in general. Further on we put our heart on the job and incorporate the business to be able to create more jobs and also to help our community to promote zero waste on our business and also be able to help culebra island to be more sustainable, step by step our business is joining force with some of our local non-profits organizations and also were gonna donate a porcentage of our anual earning to be able to promote and increase the ecoturism and educational learning on our comunity and in the world!

Michell of Map Me Adventure was a great guide. She is concerned her English is not perfect, but it certainly was terrific. She took us on a tour of some very remote areas of the island, with beautiful views, and also took us to the snorkeling beach, where she dropped us off and came back for us. When we told her we didn't see the turtles she told us were there, she came back to the beach the next day and went out snorkeling with us, until she spotted the turtles and could show them to us! We were very happy with her services! She also rents out tents in the campground at the beach at Flamenco, and we rented one from her for four days-- great spot, close to the water. The tent was big enough to stand up in, and to sit in during the downpours (!). The bed was very comfortable, but of course low to the ground, and had very nice linens and pillows. Plenty of fresh towels for the beach and the shower... and she had a private solar shower there for us as well. There was also a grill, plates, utensils, etc., two comfy beach chairs, and a hammock set up for us. She even provided bug spray (which we only needed at night to ward off the mosquitoes.) If you are OK with camping, this is a great way to go. read more

Michell is a delight and so is her passion for the people. She is an involved citizen and has dreamt of providing these large, afordable tents with comfortable memory foam mattresses and cots with pillows, sheets, and blankets to friends and families who come to enjoy the beautiful beach right in front of them as they wake up from a fun and soothing night. I enjoy it much more than sleeping further inland. read more

Michelle is a an amazing person in that she wants to put money back into the community. It is nice to be around such a spirited person with vision. She made herself incredibly available to her customers. The tents were excellent quality at an excellent price with bug spray, suntan lotion, and TP.
