Im a former student. all of the teachers were amazing and so kind but the administration needs ALOT…read moreof work. I was unaware i wasnt supposed to come back with my friends because i wasnt enrolled (even though i wasnt hiding and everyone knew me) i tried getting a visitor pass but couldnt due to not having my id. i only went because i had no ride home and one of my friends was my ride. i went to my friends first period and the teacher knew me and was fine with me there. I was not disruptive or disrespectful in any way. then I got pulled into Hallies office and got told i was trespassing and i tried explaining my situation and i wanted to see if i could get a visitor pass, i was very respectful and she was VERY rude and disrespectful to me, She kicked me out and told me to walk to the public library i had told her i wasnt good with streets because im not familiar with the area and she replied with "Well maybe you should learn". VERY DISRESPECTFUL. Mind you im a MINOR, ALONE, on the streets of central. i walked across the street to look up directions and i got catcalled IMMEDIATELY. THANKFULLY, a security guard from SIMS came up to me and took me into his building. but even he said it was dangerous to be walking alone and he told me not to walk to the library because it would be unsafe. if i did decide to walk to the library im 100% sure something would have happened. They DID NOT care for my saftey AT ALL, reguardless if im a student or not they could have handled it in a better way and atleast made me wait in the office. They put me in danger when i was unaware and i don't tolerate that. besides the administrators the teachers are wonderful, if you want good teachers id recommend this school but for saftey for your child i would NOT recommend this school trust worthy. if its THAT easy to walk in the doors who knows who can just come in.

Not only had the Albuquerque Public School system failed to make education exciting, her grades and engagement had been slipping for years when she entered Amy Biehl. We were deeply concerned that she would skip college. We had a strange kid, someone I could definitely identify with. When I was a kid, I didn't fit, either. By getting her involved in service learning, Aura's life changed dramatically, and now she's looking at a career in social work and dog behavioral training. Combining the two, she's been assisting veterans who suffer PTSD by training their service animals, while finishing her college undergraduate degree. She already intends to launch her own business, raising and adopting out service dogs, and our friends are hiring her for in-home behavioral training. Clearly, her formative experience at Amy Biehl paved the path to her success, and we highly recommend finding out if this school is the right move for your strange kid.

It wasn't a bad…read moreschool at all, and the principal is really nice, you're lucky if you are in the school when this principal is here because he is a very nice guy. Teachers are alright, nothing really bad or really good, there is some teachers I liked better then others. Overall it's a good school. And I've met friends there.
