Quite possibly the most scenic place to take a stroll if you're looking for upscale public spaces that aren't parks. Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating. Great to lounge on a sunny day and watch people and families stroll by. I there's a modest size shopping center, with a food court, as well as many fine restaurants. While it's listed as a shopping center, Manufaktura is really so much more than that. In fact calling it an 'entertainment center" doesn't cover it, either. The most amazing hotel (Andels Lodz), combined with many restaurants, a cinema, numerous museums (don't miss MS2, it blew me away) and multiple floors of retailers all situated in a 100+ year old former textile manufacturing utopia. The original buildings have been gutted and re-purposed but maintain their aesthetic appeal. The courtyard provides enough people watching you could just sit in one of the numerous sidewalk cafes and watch all afternoon. While sipping a beer. Or wine. Or margarita. Just about any type of cuisine you could want; Polish, Mexican, German, Jewish, Italian, Indian, etc. Lots of it. An amazing grocery/market where you can pick up food to go, or a bottle of wine. And although I speak absolutely no Polish, I managed just fine here. They even had a Sephora in the attached mall, woot woot! If you ever find yourself in Lodz, Poland, spend a day or two at Manufaktura. read more

One of the biggest shopping areas in Poland, every time I go there I find some new corner with a different shop or restaurant I haven't seen yet. If you visit Łódz you need to come here to do some shopping and check the events they have. This is the place I go the most when I visit Łódz. read more

What a really a neat outdoor space and shopping center to visit! Great restaurants and great shops abound here. It's a nice touristy place and would even be a great date night spot. The red brick everywhere and historical features make for some really nice views. We enjoyed going on the ferris wheel that they had set up at the time. There's a nice indoor mall as well. read more

Manufaktura is a culture-entertainment-trade centre of Łódź. It is a huge place with a huge shopping centre, many pubs and restaurants, museums and art galleries, cinema, climbing wall, a bowling alley and a fitness club. A lot of concerts and festivities as well as open-air events take place in here. It is like a city within the city! It is very interesting place, beacuse all the buildings are old postindustrial factories from XIX century. It is really hard to explain the atmosphere of the place, you have to go and see it! Great place and highly recommended! read more
