My "simple siding problem" involved mold and rot on studs, floor joists, and plywood. The simple and efficient fix would be to replace the wall. I asked if there was a way to not sacrifice wainscoting, paneling, and wallpaper to remedy the problem. I really appreciate that Brandon and his crew are willing to work with the client and solve issues in a way that honors requests. How refreshing to have someone who really listens and tries to make things work out to the clients' satisfaction. I have found Brandon's pricing to be fair and competitive. Whatever he has promised, he will follow through. After completing the initial project, I hired Brandon and his crew for two additional projects within the year. One project was, again, siding issues with underlying mold and rot underneath the fireplace. Again, project was completed keeping my priorities in mind. The last project was the removal of a full roof over the patio. I was out of town when the job was done. When I returned, I expected to find remnants of the old structure, or some visible evidence, of the structure that had been attached to the outer wall. Amazingly, the wall looks pristine; no evidence that there was ever an attached roofline. I have never seen Brandon, or his crew, leave at the end of the day without cleaning up before they go. Likewise, at the end of the project he is fastidious in his clean-up. I have future projects to undertake and will definitely call Brandon at Flooded Timber to see if it's a job for him to pursue. I emailed him the approved plans, permit, and engineering (I already had completed) the day he came out and was told it would be about a week before he could get me a quote. After 2 weeks not hearing from him, I emailed him for an update and didn't hear back from him for nearly another 2 weeks. So, after about a MONTH I finally received an estimate that was about 5x my other quotes from highly recommended, licensed and insured contractors. My suggestion is to not bother providing "free estimates" if you do not have the bandwidth to follow through.

We brought him in to redo our back patio. Martin provided design input on things like where to place the new posts and installed the posts. We are very happy with the final results. In addition, Rimant has done several other projects for us including replacing all of the siding on our garage, repairing dry rot in several areas, and replacing exterior trim that had deteriorated. They showed up on time and completed two bathroom remodels AND an office (wall + French doors) in two months! Is that record or what? Don't worry no skimp on details. Even with issues with materials (mostly vanities) being so difficult, needing extra time to adjust plumbing, wait on slow shipping, or issues with products and needing to order again (doors), all still completed in time. We finish just under budget estimated and I still got pretty high end products. Look at all the tile!!! My favorite part is my office is no longer part of main house and has double doors. Extremely happy with these projects! Oh and also his team is small, some construction companies come in with 10+ people at first visit no thank you, I had total of 8 people in my house, and not all at once.
