We were walking down la Rambla and decided to stop by and have a hot chocolate and churros. The hot chocolate was from a powder mix, not what I was hoping for. The churros were super oily and when we complained about how greasy they were, they gave us fresh ones that were just as oily as the first ones. We couldn't eat or drink any of it. Manolo has several breeches in Mar del Plata. I am writing about the one in the coast. This is their nicest location and it almost always has a lineup. Going early is recommended. Their food is ok. Portions are big. They are famous for their Milanesa. I am not a fan of Milanesa but that's is good. Their pizza and sandwiches are good too. But you got to try what started Manolo. Their churros. Still the best ever. Try one of each, simple, Dulce de leche, chocolate, and cream. Have it early afternoon so you can burn the calories at the beach without too much guilt. You haven't lived until you try the churros. The cure is great to at this location. read more

So this is a popular beach front spot in Mar Del Plata and it was recommended to us by our lovely landlord. It was ok.. we were able to get a table quickly and the food was fast and fresh.... nothing out of this world. On our way out we noticed the line was around the block.. I wouldn't have waited at all.... but that is me. Best part of the meal is the bakery downstairs where you get chocolate, cream or dulce de leche filled churros to take and eat on the beach!! they were fabulous read more

I chose this place because everyone was saying I should go here. However, it was disappointing. First, the air condicioning was set on the lowest level acceptable. You could tell that it was on but just barely. I was wiping sweat beads from my face throughout the meal and so was everyone else. Service was slow and terrible. The servers were probably too hot to move. The rice with shrimp dish had no flavor. bland, bland, bland. Needless to say, I'm not staying for desert. I'm afraid it would melt before it gets to the table. No paper towells in bathroom also just shows that management doesnt care about it's customers and is just CHEAP! read more

Very popular for its churros and seafood. It's a great option to visit with friends and eat A LOT, but not very good for a date night or if you're looking for something less crowded noisy. read more
