This is a new Manna BBQ in our area! We were really excited to come in and eat, but the service here was very questionable and not great. We would order meat and it came out quick. However, whenever we turned up the stove to cook since it was cooking extremely slow, the servers would come over and turn it all the way down. They also lectured us on how to cook our meat and not to move our meat around when we knew what we were doing... At the end we were also extremely overcharged on the gratuity tip... so be careful and check your check. Overall we weren't too happy. read more

I usually visit the mesa location but now that I know that location is open, I will keep coming here! This place is spacious and well lit up. We stopped by on a Sunday for lunch and we were seated right away, no wait!! The service here was great and our server checked up on us constantly. The meats were great, the steamed egg was the bombbbb, and the kimchi was delish! I will come back again! read more

We have visited almost all their locations, and this was our first time to this one. It's new and clean. Our table for 5 was a little tight - we spent a lot of time juggling plates and beverages. Also, the vent tube was not adjusting properly and hampered conversation at times. They have the same great menu - lots of options for meats and sides. We always start with a green salad, tempura veggies, the corn cheese and the fried chicken and then try several different meat options. The staff were very nice, but service was not as attentive as we experience in the other locations. Definitely a good stop, but they have opportunity for improvements. read more

So happy to have this place open near me, because I used to go to the one in Tempe. We went during lunch on a weekday and the place was only about a third full. Restaurant was clean and well kept and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We are not usually AYCE fans, because we can't eat that much, but I do like the variety they offer so we can try a little bit of everything. Their meat and seasoning was pretty good, but their kimchi is lacking a little in flavor. Of course I can't compare to the AYCE in LA, but for Gilbert, this restaurant is the best you can get for Korean BBQ. I would definitely go back and their price is very reasonable for AYCE. read more

This had been our go to for KBBQ in AZ. My aunt is in need of wheelchair access. I asked for a table for three and space for a motorized chair please. They were clearing a table and I said "that spot probably will not work because she is in a motorized chair and I don't want her to take up / block the walkway/ aisle from anyone. I got a response from 2 ladies with a snarky tone" well what do you want? What do you want us to do?" I said an attitude was not necessary. They said " there is no attitude, what do you want? You can see the place is full?" I said the attitude is enough and walked out. They responded behind me with a snarky "fine". Before someone says that's how asians talk, no. I am Asian, and she was out of line. Hopefully they change their ways of talking to customers . Relaying that we could wait for a better table to open up or something more polite. But I'll take my family and business else where. read more

This Manna place is far better than other AYCE BBQ place in Arizona. I am a meat lover, and I have been to pretty much every BBQ place all over the valley in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. This was my fourth visit to this Chandler Manna location last Thursday with my lady friends. Food has always been good, but this time I have to mention the service I received from Regina and Erin, who served my table. I must leave feedback because of the exceptional service I received on this visit. Unlike most restaurants I visited in the past, I did not wait for the service staff to come by my table. They always scanned my table and asked for anything we needed, or they had just filled up our drinks and water. This place does not seem to have a hosting staff. I am not sure how to ask for their table on my next visit. This restaurant is a must visit. read more

Love Manna Kbbq! Came here for date night with the hubby and are so happy we came. The food and service was amazing. We had Regina as our server and she was fantastic. She was very attentive and kind, always making sure that our banchan and drinks were refilled. We had the brisket, the beef belly, japchae, and steamed egg bowl. Everything was tasty and fresh! I ate so much, I was stuffed! We finished with some mochi ice cream, which was a nice ending to the perfect meal. We will be back again soon! read more

I'll be honest we went here super excited because of all the great reviews! We are new to the area and never been to Manna but have had many other Korean BBQ experiences elsewhere. Unfortunately this place is a disappointment. Meat is sub par at best. Super chewy & so much fat I found myself spitting out a lot of pieces..... All appetizers and sides not good. Wings were not good. Just stuff I could honestly make better at home. Service was not friendly. Didn't get greeted when we walked in but the because lady at front was working on something on computer & basically ignored us for 5 minutes.... Waitresses were on it when changing the grills and taking out orders I'll give it that but not exactly with a smile. We got a pork belly we politely asked to return because was so chewy we couldn't eat (only cooked 2 out of like 6 pieces & tried to return because you have to pay for what you don't eat) & the lady was not kind about it to say the least. The waiter Crystal who seated us at our table/booth was very rude and shouldn't be treating customers like this at all She fat shamed my friend who was wanting to sit at the booth. She told her "sit at the chairs" not the booth My friend didn't want to cause a scene but I would for sure if she didn't tell me not too That isn't right! If Crystal doesn't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all! Keep it to ur self She had ordered japchae after Crystal had taken are drink order we never received it just completely ignored us The food is good if the waiter actually listen to us and not be a b!tch to us Can't enjoy the atmosphere and have a good time if I feel like I'm being judged constantly read more

Whenever I get tired of the usual flour-based dishes, the first place that comes to mind is this BBQ restaurant. Thanks to Anny, who always goes the extra mile to be kind and attentive, I had a great time and a relaxing Saturday evening with a drink. Even on a busy late Saturday afternoon, the servers were incredibly kind and thoughtful, making sure everything was perfect despite the rush. I truly appreciate the consistent quality of the meat and the warm, welcoming service. Among all the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spots in Arizona, I'd say Manna is definitely the best! read more

We absolutely love this place!!! It is sooo clean, excellent customer service, fantastic quality of meats & so many choices. I offered to take my husband anywhere he wanted for his birthday and he insisted that Manna was the place. Regina took exceptional care of our group of six, she made great recommendations with meats, soups and beverages. We love having this location so close to home! Perhaps one of the best korean bbq out there. Service was great! They are quick and very attentive. Place can be smoky but don't worry. There's no such thing as a bad cook right? Designate someone to cook and someone to portion the meals. Pacing is key. Use the fat to season and cook :) read more

Worst experience ever. Don't know if it's this location only, but we will not be returning. BEWARE OF THEIR AUTOMATIC 18% TIP We were rushed, waitress didn't check on us, we had to keep trying to get her attention to order more sides and food. In addition, we didn't get a confirmation on what we order to make sure she heard us correctly. The appetizer list is limited (compared to GEN and other places) and some of the meats are not seasoned great. The vegetable dish has plenty of onions, 2 zucchinis, and 2 mushroom slices only. They provide one dish that holds a sauce side and salt with pepper side. No other sauces are available like, ssamjang or cho ganjang. They don't provide lettuce leaves, but you can order a salad. Soon tofu soup is lacking in flavor. We left full, but unhappy with the experience. WARNING: they automatically charge you 18% tip! We were a table of 4, so it's not only for large groups. I now understand why their service is lacking. There's no need to provide it since they automatically add it on themselves. This was our first time here and will be our last. We will be returning to Gen or trying a totally different one that is in Tempe. read more

Went for lunch. This place is amazing. Food is fresh. Tons of choices. Anny was such a great help. We were first timers and she explained everything and even helped us with learning the grill. Great suggestions. All the staff was attentive and kept checking on us. All you can eat is such a great value. The food is flavorful and great quality. We tried so many new things. The food was very good but the service was very bad. Of note, there was plenty of food left over to take home (theoretically) but the rude waitress said they did not allow taking food home. Ridiculous! We had an entire plate of uncooked/eaten sliced beef, and leftover pickled veggies and portions on our plates- enough for 2 large meals more. But we were refused to take it with us. Horrible waste of good food and money. I have never heard of a restaurant actively stopping taking leftovers home. So, looking for a more reasonable and accommodating korean restaurant now. read more

I would recommend getting extra salad dressing on the side and getting the lettuce plate (which is an extra $3.5) for the meat unless you want to eat it with the pre-tossed salad. Huge fan of the ginseng spirit. Not their typical 40-53% though, so be sure to know the difference. They also served me a different one than what I had in the flight which tasted and looked different (it was murkier vs clear when ordered in the full bottle) and the bottle is def 13%. Service is on pointe - never needed to ask for anything other than another box and if you're trying to hear someone on a first date I wouldn't recommend coming here, but the general ambiance is fun and worth a try with good friends and family. Definitely will try again for other menu items.
