This Park or Aquarium offers different venues for different prices to get of a ticket, which includes several attractions, you can go into their tunnel of fish, watch a sea lion show, witness a bird show and wind down from a busy day of seeing fish, sharks, sea horses. I got the ticket that they said I could see everything , and the I go to the Jelly Fish venue and I have to pay another 100 pesos ???. Inside the Ocean Park is also a mini mall and shops where you can get souvenirs or something to eat. You can even check in the adjoining hotel H2O where you can see the fishes also, and some of the rooms have a portal to the fish tank. The best part for me was getting a photo op with the penguins where I got to feed them. All in all, a fun and memorable day out fit for the entire family.

Antarctica exhibit allows an up-close feed the penguins in their exhibit habitat. None other aquarium in the States have it. That was a surprise and delight especially with a 3 year old grandson. Overall the place could use updated design and new lightning setup. The cost of entrance is cheap in standard, but you are not expecting much in return. It does provide little ones space to run and enjoyment.

Well... When my family and I first walked up we thought.. is it open? Not sure of what's going on, but from the looks of it there's not very many patrons to produce enough revenue to update this place. We purchased the cheapest pass which included Sea Lion show, bird house, oceanarium, and something else, but I forgot. The cost was around $10/p minus 2 senior discounts (parentals). We only did the Sea Lion show and walked through the oceanarium. The Sea Lion show was entertaining, but seemed sad at the same time. The tanks for fish looked as if they don't get cleaned on a regular basis. It was fun to do as a family, but nothing too exciting. The whole park has seen better days.

I love that Manila has an ocean park that can rival those in other countries. I have been to the Seattle Aquarium in the US, which was such a marvelous treat, but I'm glad that the Manila Ocean Park doesn't really pale in comparison. I love how the ocean park features indigenous species of sea life that we don't get to appreciate. This place is highly educational, and it makes one feel like a child again. For a price of a ticket, which includes several attractions, you can go into their tunnel of fish, watch a sea lion show, witness a bird show and wind down from a busy day of seeing fish, sharks, sea horses and other cool marine life with a lights and sounds show that teaches kids the importance of taking care of the seas, and not throwing garbage into the environment. My favorite attractions are the jellyfishes that they put in lit tanks. The jellyfish are so relaxing and hypnotic to watch. I also enjoyed the sea lion show, which just goes to show how fun it is to interact with animals. Inside the Ocean Park is also a mall where you can grab something to eat after a long day. You can even check in the adjoining hotel, if you fancy sleeping in a room with a massive tank with swimming fish inside. This is one of the most fun activities in the metro, especially if you have children or young kids with you. Adults will enjoy, too, as they have attractions and activities that are for people of all ages (there is a fish spa upstairs where you can have small fishes nibble at the dead skin cells on your feet). All in all, a fun and memorable day out fit for the entire family.

My girlfriend and I pride ourselves on being spontaneous, and it's a standing practice in our relationship that when one of us is feeling romantic and spontaneous, we can kidnap the other one and take them somewhere we've always wanted to go. I used this opportunity to take her to Manila Ocean Park. She's never wanted to go because it was too pricey, but I found out beforehand that they had summer promos, and I got us the 5-in-1 bundle for only Php599.xx. Normally, this'd cost around Php2000.xx, so it was a total bargain. We were able to see fish up close in the Oceanarium, experience the 80s acid trip that was the jellyfish exhibit, touch sharks and sting-rays, watch sea lions dance and do tricks, and see the late-night fire, water, and light symphony show. We had a grand, ol' time, so go ahead and sign up for their promos before they go back to their original prices.

With the risk of sounding like one of those nutty environmentalists (who am I kidding? I AM a nutty environmentalist) I would like to encourage everyone NOT TO GO HERE. Seriously. There's as much value as studying these creatures locked up in a small area, as there is studying humans in one country and saying that they are how all humans act like. (You get me?) And with the growing research that tells us of the human-level intelligence of marine animals (particularly dolphins) is it really worth it to keep them locked up?? There are whale and dolphin watching activities in Bohol! There's whale shark interaction in Sorsogon! Anyway, I digress. Admittedly, I visited the ocean park for the same reason as anyone would: to take photos and learn about marine life. But now that I have visited it, I wouldnt want to go again. For one thing, the ACTUAL park has a "tiangge" part inside, and the exhibits are ill kept. Seriously, who needs a HUNDRED kinds of the same jellyfish locked up in one tank? Some tanks dont even have names or any explanations where they caught the animal and why it's being showcased. We have actual PENGUINS in this place? What the heck, PENGUINS in a tropical country? Imagine how much electricity (fossil fuels!) that needs and how stressed the penguins are. Anyway, yeah, bottom line, please don't visit Manila Ocean Park. It's not even a marine life sanctuary, and the animals aren't taken care of properly. You want to experience the PH's wildlife? Go to effin BATANGAS. That's the center of Marine Biodiversity in the Philippines! It's what, a 3-4 hour bus ride that won't cost you more than 120 pesos. Borrow some snorkels and get a boat. You're better off not supporting this abomination. (Pictures attached are where I was still swayed by the ooh pretty. I'm sorry I ever supported this.)

I was a little hesitant to bring my then one-year- old daughter to Manila Ocean Park because other parents said she was "too small" to appreciate it. They advised me to bring her there when she's bigger. But my daughter was already curious at that age and was fond of looking at fishes (even in the supermarket) so I thought maybe she'd still enjoy it. So we went and we had a good time. I don't know about world-class (which is what they claim), but the place has its merits and it was fun alternative to just going to the mall for family bonding. My little explorer loved looking at varied marine life at the Oceanarium and the colorful Jellies Exhibit (that experience was actually a little trippy, I somehow felt like I was in a trance), but she was also too young to sit through the Sea Lion Show (hubby and I enjoyed it). What is up with the Penguin Talkshow though? It was like going inside a really bad comedy bar (the voice over for the talking penguin was really corny), and I don't think the kids were amused by that. Still, we had a fun experience and I would probably be back when my kids are a little bigger and we'll try the other attractions (I'm so excited to do the Mermaid Swim Experience!).

I'm glad that Manila Ocean Park exists so than we can have a place to show our children, in one day, the different sea creatures. Visuals play a very important role in learning. I get to remember and know more about something when I see it. I took the opportunity of being at the Ocean Park to teach my son about the different species. He may be too young to appreciate all the we have shown him that day but experts say that we should never underestimate the learning capability of toddlers. So, there we are, exposing our child to the whale, fish, sea horse, sea lion, penguins and other ocean dwellers of varying shapes and sizes. He liked some of them but got scared of the others. That's part of learning! The Manila Ocean Park has restaurants and food shops for every taste bud and budget. Upscale restaurants are located upstairs. The Park also has a souvenier shop that has plenty of merchandise that will certainly remind you of your wonderful time at the park. Come and visit the Manila Ocean Park for a day of fun and learning with your loved ones or barkada.

When I heard they were opening an aquarium, I was beside myself with joy. Surely it had to be better than Manila Zoo, right? (Let's not talk about that.) So of course, I made it a point to go as soon as I could. The first time I went was fascinating and it only got better with time. They kept adding attractions and things to do that there always seems to be something new every time I decide to check up on them. If you like fish, definitely go. There's plenty to look at and plenty to see. Even if you choose to go to the Oceanarium alone, that's still a good chunk of time you can spend staring at all the exhibits. That and there's something so calming about walking around, surrounded by fish. Yes, even if said fish happen to be sharks. Still calming. Protip: go in the summer. That's when they break out the package deals where you can experience almost all the attractions for under 1000php. Lucky for me, my birthday falls within the promo date so you can say that going to the Ocean Park has almost always been a semi-annual thing for me. This year probably isn't going to be an exception.
LOVED THE OCEAN PARK! I got to see the fishies, penguins, crocodile, birds, chickens, and many more! The only thing is the payment. It's so confusing and we never know which ones we have access to or not have access to. We had to pay extra for some ventures, but didn't clarify. It's kid-friendly. Great for family days. Will come back with the kids next time!! :) read more
To be an aquarium in Manila(one of the Asian big cities), I think I expected just a bit more. Don't get me wrong... I make anything I'm doing enjoyable. I can't say much about the price of admission... we were doing other things around Manila so we stayed in the connecting hotel H20. We planned to visit the aquarium anyway but we received two free tickets just by staying at the hotel. The exhibits consist of a bird show, sea lion show, oceanarium, trails of Antarctica, super toy collection, creepy crawlies, and jellyfish exhibit. There are some fish but I honestly felt like there were more bugs and other animals throughout the aquarium. I almost skipped over the Toy Collection exhibit... was I stupid for almost skipping it? I had a ton of fun in that section. lol. I do want to point out two things. The bird show and the sea lion show! When I visit places like this, I typically don't put much faith into these shows. My fiance had been there a long time ago, watched another show, and insisted. So we made sure that we made it to the back-to-back bird/sea lion show. It was so much more fun than it had any right to be. The main host/ringleader of those shows was this pregnant lady... I think she might be the best person to ever do that job! The highlight was without a doubt the animal shows. read more

The Oceanarium and moonjelly displays were very good but very dark and hard to navigate the hallways. My friend lost his receipt which grants you access to the many displays. He was sent back to customer service at the other end of the park where he sat for 45 minutes while they explained how difficult it would be to replace it or allow him access. They claimed they would have to call a manager at home and would be unable to allow him access. Meanwhile, I saw patrons ushered around turnstiles and allowed access to the sea lion show. I found vendors at food court to be pushy. I would wait for them to finish the bird sanctuary rebuild before going here. Take the ferry to Cebu and see the Aquarium which was amazing and much cheaper. read more
It's great for kids. The aquarium it's self is very small. The staff is super nice and help you in the right direction. Pick up for cab is very easy. There a lot for kids. Plenty of stores. read more

It is hard for me to rate Manila Ocean Park. I have some issues with any animal being kept in captivity to entertain me, especially when it looks like they might not be that well cared for. But, for this review, I am really going to try to set aside my emotional response to penguins in too warm of a spot and sea lions trained to do cute tricks. So, here we go: The pricing is confusing, at best. It is not just one price, but several depending on what you want to see. It is not explained well and I wish they would just charge one price and be done with it. It is expensive anyway you look at it. We bought the most expensive tickets, but really were never sure, what we were buying. I received no map or brochure. There is little signage to direct you and asking for help is not as easy as one would think. But, we got in the door, tickets in hand and moved on. The aquariums are lovely. There are several huge aquariums and there is a tunnel you can walk though that is surrounded by fish. The areas for these fish seemed quite well cared for and there was a lot to see. There is a room with penguins and for an additional fee you can try to feed them and have a photo taken. It was warm in there, too warm. The penguins were adorable. There is also a sea lion show, that reminded me of Sea World. The sea lions have been trained to do tricks and you watch that. The sea lions seemed healthy. They are very cute. There are quite a few shops and places to eat. We had lunch and were quite happy. All in all it was a satisfactory visit. The management needs to put in some maps, clean up more and maybe have helpful staff. But if you want to feed a penguin, well there you go. read more

How can you charge a child 700 for an entry fee if the child isnt even 1 or 2 years old... just because they're over 2 feet tall. You gotta be kidding me. Cant even do half price. Maybe its time to view your pricing. Maybe ill change my review after walking through but as it stands for charging children so young full price is bs... read more

Been wanting to come back here and check out the aquarium and I finally did! I went to Hotel H2O for an event to watch the Pacquiao fight and I thought it was the coolest thing. Their ballroom wall is part of the aquarium underwater tube thing. So the fishies got to see the fight too! Lol. I took my neighbor scholar on a little adventure to the aquarium. It was her first time in Manila so I thought this would be fun for a 12 year old. I purchased one of the more expensive tickets so we could try to do the majority of things they have. What I was surprised was that we were directed to stay on schedule. We walked towards the aquarium but told us we are on schedule to see the sea lion show. It gets confusing because everything is spread out. It's easy to get lost. I only noticed one map in the middle. They don't give you a printout map so just wander around until you find everything. It's also not helpful when you walk up and the girl checking people in doesn't say anything and ignores you. Like say something. She said please wait after a minute then I was already irritated with her then she got all snippy. Customer service has always been really crappy in the Philippines. When you stay on schedule then everyone in the world goes to the same spot you want to go to so the aquarium was pretty packed when we walked through it. Overall it was an OK experience. Wish it was a little more organized and I wish it was the same price to do everything. read more

Fans of underwater life are sure to get a kick out of a visit to Manila Ocean Park, which houses a comprehensive selection of aquatic creatures of different types, colors and sizes. This is a fun activity for the people of all ages, with the only requirement being an appreciation for fish, crustaceans and the like that goes further than just the gustatory. Among the highlights of the place (aside from the huge aquariums, of course) are the live shark embryos at different stages of development. These provide visitors with a look at just how these underwater predators grow, and are a quite fascinating spectacle on their own. The massive walk-in aquarium, which allows a side-top-side experience of large fish, sharks and rays, is actually even more impressive. No flash photography, though, since fish are quite sensitive to light. Further activities include a chance to dive with fish, have fish munch on your dead skin in a spa, and see a huge number of different types of jellyfish set off by trippy neon lights. These are all extras, though, and as such require an additional fee. If seeing all the creatures makes you hungry, Makan Makan (which you have to pass on your way to the exit) offers a variety of dishes from the Southeast Asian region. You can also choose to hang out at the White Moon Bar, which has a great view of Manila Bay (that sunset is seriously still amazing) and is usually far from full (thus also being a great place for surreptitious encounters of the illicit kind). Should you decide to take this further, Manila Ocean Park also has a hotel (Hotel H20) attached to it. Some rooms have built-in aquariums for that underwater feeling. read more
It's been a long time since I came to Manila Ocean Park. A lot has change. The mall itself didn't change a bit, it is full of unknown brands and souvenir shop all around the vicinity. There are only few restaurants to have good food. Some aren't really known, even their food cart. The mall area is not outstanding. Nothing to see and do, except for the Oceanarium. The oceanarium has expanded to having Birds of Prey exhibit and Yexel's Toy Museum. The oceanarium is a smaller version of the one in Hong Kong. There are alot of species from fresh water to the deep water. There are lesser reef sharks in the aquarium, from the view above. I didn't see the large sting rays from the outside aquarium as well. As far as I see it, it's a ghost town without the school tours and the pokemon hunters in the area. They're the one who occupies the entrances of the bldg. read more

The park is not well maintained, its not well lighted and a bit disorganised. The value of each activities offered is a bit expensive for a limited resources. It's too crowded and it doesn't look like a park more of a Market as there were even stores selling stuff not related to the park. If this is to be work on it could be one of Philippines pride. read more
Went here at 6pm, was trying to get the ticket for P590, they said it's sold out (which absolutely does not make sense to me) so we ended up buying the more expensive one that covered less attractions that what we wanted. They don't give you a map or a brochure, they just tell you to go watch the show outside at 6:30pm. We spend most of our time being lost, there's no visible signs pointing to the attractions, and due to my horrible memory I can't remember what attractions I am allowed to go to and what I need to pay extra for. The ticket we got only gave us access to the oceanarium (only cool thing here), the night show (that pretty much anyone with feet can go see), and see the penguins (which are cool, takes 2 minutes to look at, cost extra P500 to go inside to try to get their attention by feeding them a tiny fish). There is a bunch of restaurants and small shops with corporate garbage if that tickles anyone's interest. The other cool part that doesn't cost extra is taking a picture of the sunset by the deck by the white moon bar. Literal waste of money. read more
Went there for the first time and maybe not ever go again. Maybe just do to how I see the lifestyle of how they treat the animals. Alligator/Crocodile environment: first of all, you see coins in the little ponds that they call "home" Don't they know that that can be very hazardous to the creatures living there. They should refrain from "coin throwing" it's not like their wishes will come true. Some fish tanks seem so unnatural for them. Just a plain 25x25 inch tank i suppose. Penguins! They were adorable but when you see their surroundings... Come on. Rubber mats and pads laying around there? Shark tanks: So sad to see but its only big enough to fit their body in there and it can barely swim around. When i saw it it was just laying there in the sand. Its quite hot in there so prepare for that. Not much of an air conditioned place you might be expecting. read more

I went to Manila Ocean Park last February 2015, when an org I joined (Kythe-Ateneo) raised enough money to send around 40-50 kids with chronic illnesses to the place as a culmination day. My kid Kheiden and his girl (SPACE) friend absolutely adored the entire park. We started our tour off by going backstage of the morning sea lion show and getting to interact and touch some sharks and rays! Our guides were patient with the jittery kids, and were surprisingly good at getting them to touch the (leathery) rays. Next we headed off to the Birds of Prey exhibit, where native Philippine eagles (not sure if they were *the* national bird sort of Philippine eagle) flew freely in a huge area, and there was a quick show where a trainer put some food on one of the kids' arms and we watched an eagle swoop down and gobble it up. The jellyfish exhibit was peaceful and picturesque, with slow jellyfish swimming in deep blues, purples, and reds. Last up were the Oceanarium and the sea lion show. Everyone was shouting and cheering for all the impressive tricks the trained sea lions could do, and were ooh-ing and ahh-ing at the fish in the Oceanarium. It's a very family friendly place, but I'd want to go back with friends for the jellyfish exhibit (which is super underrated) and to try out Yexel's Toy Museum. read more

I've been to Manila Ocean Park once with my husband when I was pregnant and we had a lot of fun. I can't wait to go there again with my baby. It's such an interesting place to go with kids! Based on what I saw, the oceanarium really sharpens their curiosity, since there are thousands of marine creatures from various species. Kids just love the fishes, sharks and stingrays! Although it's a place obviously focused on children, adults can have fun too. I particularly loved the Jellies Exhibit. The jellyfishes move inside a multimedia display that changes colors. It's like a poetic dance. So beautiful! Try also the fish spa. It's awkward on the beginning, but it's a picturesque experience. Well, I must tell a funny fact about my last visit there. Hubby and I were waiting in line for the night highlight: the mermaid show. She was supposed to dive in the big aquarium at 8pm but nothing happened. I thought to myself: "ok, maybe she's late". Suddenly something appeared. I could see a fish tail. But...wait! it's not the mermaid...it's a merman! Yeah, it was a man wearing a pink fish tail. For me, as an expat, it was kinda weird. I thought kids there would all cry and complain like " Mom, where's Ariel?". But surprisingly they acted so naturally! This scene made me conclude that the Philippines are really avant-garde concerning gender issues and I admire that. In Brazil, if they announced a mermaid show and then a mermen came wearing a pink fish tail, people would certainly complain. But kids here didn't show any prejudice. They say you're missing out on half the world if you haven't seen whats there under the sea! I've been struggling to get myself a scuba licence so this is the closest (in the Metro!) I've been to that experience. The Manila Ocean Park is the only aquarium of its scale in the country, it has a wide selection of fishes, mammals and even birds (penguins, I kid you not!!). While I'm on the edge with the animals in captivity issue, I couldn't help but feel like a little kid again visiting this place. I was so overwhelmed with all the creatures and their colors. It can get a bit crowded so be patient. I didn't have enough time to see the seal show and the birds of paradise but the regular ticket seemed enough for me. It's a great day-date activity for you and your special someone! read more

It was a long and enjoyable day even though it was a very crowded in hallway of the Oceanarium which can be bad for first timers. It's very easy to get lost. I think maybe it is best to visit on weekdays and not holidays as to avoid the crowds. I mostly enjoyed watching the big fishes and some shows like the Symphony Evening Show and the Sea Lion Show. They reminded me of my trip to Singapore with the musical lights. read more

It's not Ocean Park Hongkong but this aquatic attraction behind the Quirino Grandstand gives Filipinos a taste of the wonders that our oceans have to offer. The variety of marine life that one can see will surely awe visitors. I'm a grown man but I felt like a kid as I gazed at the sharks and manta rays lazily swimming in their aquariums. They also have a sea lion show that everyone will enjoy. It was fun and entertaining although a bit exhausting because of the heat in their open air stadium. What I truly enjoyed though is their "fish doctors". What you do is sit around a shallow pool where there are these small fishes. The fishes will then ahhmm attack your feet and legs. No, they don't eat your feet so that you're left with just bones to stand on. They say that the fishes feed on dead skin so that's what they're after. It is a bit embarassing though for those like me who are very ticklish. I swear I tried to control myself but it was a losing battle. The sensation of the fishes nibbling on my legs and pulling on the hair on my legs left me in giggling fits. Maybe not the best for the ticklish ones or the balbons for that matter. They still have a lot to offer if the fish doctor attraction is not your thing. You can just spend your time looking at the magnificent sea creatures and contemplate on why we are so stupid that we may end up killing all these creations by destroying their natural habitat. read more

I can still remember as clear as day how Manila buzzed when it was announced that Manila Ocean Park would be opening. I haven't been to the place that often -- twice or thrice if I remember correctly -- but what I do recall with fondness and clarity is that I had a good time when I was there, and so did the less privileged children whom my friends and I accompanied on one particular instance for a charity event. If you love animals, marine life in particular, or enjoy being swept away to another world (seems necessary in a city of just about two million people), this is a great place to visit. There are dolphins, sharks, colorful fish, and even penguins all around! My favorite feature is the walkway/giant aquarium that is encompassed by glass, allowing you to feel like you're inside the water with the fish. There are also daily shows happening that people of any age can enjoy. No matter how old you are, I think you'll enjoy this place. read more

We live in an archipelago, so we're surrounded on all sides by water. Remember - the reason why Metro Manila became the center for commerce and culture in the Philippines is mostly because it made such a good strategic aquatic port, so our seaside environment is something to be cherished. And that's why Manila Ocean Park and all its amazing features is something that I think truly brings us closer to our ocean-based roots. Manila Ocean Park has A LOT OF STUFF TO DO. And it has such an extremely extensive collection of sea-dwellers that you just have to be a little amazed. From crazy huge-ass sharks, to adorkable penguins, to the rainbow-like assortment of colorful tropical fish, Manila Ocean Park has so much for you to look at and to learn. It also has so many ways to interact with the ocean creatures, from throwing food into the habitats to actually diving straight into the tank. As far as aquariums go, Ocean Park is definitely top notch. read more

For some reason I assumed the aquarium in the Philippines would be awesome. Instead, it was a huge disappointment. From the various store vendors trying to sell you pointless crap to the vast amount of trash floating in the bird exhibit, I was surprised. I suppose if you are coming here with young children this could be entertaining. Overall, I'd save your money. read more

Summary Surprising! I don't want to go overboard here, Seaworld this is not, but it is surprisingly well done. The staff was well trained and the shows were entertaining. The facilities were decent, even good by Philippines standards. Given the embarrassingly small number of tourist attractions in the Metro, this definitely stands out as one of our better options. Background Anecdote My cousin and I had a friend from Europe in town for a few weeks. On a slow Thursday (June 2015) we were looking for something touristy to do with him. This popped up in a list of things to do. My cousin was actually there on opening week and said it was kind of small but it was probably not too bad. So we went and our expectations were quite low. Attractions The main aquarium is pretty decent. Again, Sentosa Island this is not, but it definitely reaches world standard. The jellyfish exhibit is the highlight but they desperately need some seating options in there. I mean we paid for a ticket, we can't sit and enjoy the jellies?! The penguin tank needs to be much bigger (felt bad for those little guys) and there needs to be much more informational material in the viewing room. The cold room next to the penguins is awesome, I've since gone back just to sit in that cold room for a while. The tropical exhibit outside the aquarium is pretty underwhelming, the croc park in Davao is far more impressive. The bird exhibit is probably the most disappointing, in terms of informational material and overall content, but it wasn't that bad. I had a ticket for "Back of the House" but no one could tell us what it was and I still have no clue. Shows In a word: fun! Ok if its hot out being outdoors might be a negative, but these shows are just really entertaining. There are 3 main shows: sea lion, bird and night show (forgot what they call it). Then there are these smaller shows like the one with an animated talking penguin or the 4DX style theater. The smaller shows are all a skip, they are underwhelming and, for tourists, the animated penguin one is in Taglish. The 3 main shows are all really entertaining. The staff is well rehearsed and funny, the animals are delightful. The night show is a laser/holograph show that is really impressive for the Philippines. Other stuff (negatives) I will say they could use some more thinking at this attraction. There are not enough places to sit, you should get a map upon ticket purchase (I would've gotten lost if it wasn't for my cousin's good sense of direction), the food options are very limited (and frankly not very good) and there are not enough air conditioned areas. Also, if this is aimed at tourists, attractions should not be in Taglish (though if this is aimed at us locals, then no problem). The "doctor fish" spa is a communal tank area which is a hygienic hazard, this is the biggest overall negative. Overall One of the better tourist options in the Metro. Recommended for tourists, families and anyone looking for something to do outside. read more
I stayed at The Hotel H20 and the room came with complimentary tickets to the park. MWhen I go to the MOP direct site and click on a package-- example the one for P990 , and click View Details--There is nothing that says a child over 2 feet tall needs to be paid for. Upon checking in to the hotel, the lady just gave us the wrist bands for the 2 adults. We were given no explanation that we still needed to go to the Registration office before entering the park itself to get stamped and scanned whatever. We assumed that all we needed to do was put on the bracelets and walk in to the park. I was stopped because we had no stamps and the MOP worker pointed to the "Registration" office across the way. Upon entering there, the lady told me I needed to pay for my son because he was over 2 feet tall. Are you serious? He is 1.5 years old. My son will only sit in his stroller. I wasn't going to pay for a ticket just because he's tall for his age. That is completely ridiculous. She just stamped my son and didn't charge me because I was clearly upset and not willing to pay for him. read more

This was my first time here at Manila Ocean Park. Their attractions/exhibits are both nice, and I really appreciated the overall layout of how organized the different sections are. I went on Christmas, so I expected it to be crowded (as it was). This was a big family event, so we were all looking forward to it. We bought a total of 17 tickets, and I appreciated how efficient they took care of getting us our wristbands. I did, however, notice that they took copies of our credit cards. This was not in the fine print: after the tickets were purchased online, it was stated that we would have to present the card we paid online with, the voucher printed out, and a copy of an identification card. It was not stated that they would be making a copy of our credit card. That was a little concerning to me at first. But what was most concerning to me was the overall lack of customer service this estsblishment has. Apart from the workers at the entrance where you would expect them to be smiling and welcoming guests, they stood idly with facial expressions as if they didnt want to be there. Not one smile. From any of them. No "welcome", nor any "hello" from them. I would also like to specially point out the worker that was towards the left entrance end checking in guests under the "Oceanarium" sign on Christmas day between the hours of 12 noon to 1 pm (and probably even later). She was the individual that was not wearing white. Corporate or a supervisor really needs to have a talk about how she treats customers BRINGING YOUR ESTABLISHMENT REVENUE BY CHECKING IN. I am still livid how she treated us when we were checking in. First, she said that we would have to get a ticket for a kid that was over 2 feet tall. My first point (and suggestion) is that this metric is useless as equivocal as it is superfluous. Youre going to charge a kid based on his/her height rather than their age, two variables that are not proportionately standardized?! You should have stated this in the fine print. So we went to get new wristbands. And when we returned, she deliberately came up to me, pointed at the door, and spoke in tagalog. Just because I am filipino doesnt necessarily mean I understand it (talk about racially profiling customers). When I calmly told her she needed to speak to me in English, she proceeded to say "you need to get a new wristband!" in the most condescending attitude. We did; we stood in line for 20+ minutes, and in the end we still attitude?! Perhaps if she works on her customer service, people would actually get to enjoy Christmas Day. If she cant handle the stress perhaps the company could do all of us a favor and ask that she find a position more suitable to her attitude. I've had a lot of professionals who asked me about this establishment. I will tell them to go to a competitor instead. To the worker that gave all of us attitude: you should really learn how to treat people. You've lost a lot of potential customers to whom would have brought in great customer value to the estsblishment YOU work for. Sincerely, Dr. Tamayo read more

Nowadays, family friendly activities seem trapped within the confines of rather overpopulated shopping malls. Tired of the convolution of stalls and the stressful parking issue, not to mention elbowing you and your family through the crowd, a good alternative would be much needed. Thankfully, this little gem popped up by the side of the bay. Dedicated to opening you and your family towards the rich marine life that our archipelago has been blessed with, a stroll here with your younger family memebrs, and older alike, will prove to be an equally educational and fun experience. Want to go hand in hand with the little fishies? Or better yet, foot to mouth? Have your feet smoothed out by getting their signature foot spa. Dip your feet into the water and have tiny fishes eat away the dirt and calluses you've gotten from all that walking. All in all, there's a lot of things that you can do here and might I add, there's something soothing and therapeutic in staring at fishes in a tank - opposed to staring at the foot traffic in malls, that is. read more

Water / laser show is awesome! Enjoyed the jellyfish exhibit too. Some other exhibits were not so great (the polar one).

We had a great time visiting Manila Ocean Park! The place is perfect for a fun and relaxing day, especially if you enjoy marine life and interactive exhibits. One of the highlights for us was the oceanarium, the tunnel view with the sea creatures swimming above was really amazing and felt immersive. The attractions were well-organized, and there were plenty of spots to take photos and just enjoy the moment. The staff were also accommodating, which made the experience smoother and more enjoyable. We also liked that there were different shows and activities throughout the day, so there was always something to look forward to. Overall, it was a memorable experience and definitely worth visiting, whether you're with friends, family, or just looking for something different to do in the city. Would highly recommend! read more
